  1. @Healthy2015. Ok so I have not had my surgery yet, butttt I did have to tell my bosses about it because I needed the time off and I will not be able to pick up heavy objects for a little bit. So now I sooo wish I did not have to tell them, now that they have gone and talked about it behind my back and gossiping about me and now they make sly comments ( were I can here them) about weight loss surgery and about how "people just gain all the weight back," "and if there going to find a way around it they will," and I know they are all talking about me. They are all very big women and very jealous! So I try to ignore them. So maybe you might just want to wait, unless you think they are better people then that, just think about it real good!! Good luck to you on your journey!

  2. I have a book that is called the "five day pouch test" by Kaye Bailey. It simply says that if you will go back to day 1 and do just what you did right after surgery, do it for five days that you can most likely get your pouch back down! This at least will help you get back on track. So give it a try! Good luck!

  3. @@NewBeginning2015 your post is why I said what I said! It's a concern of mine and I will take your advice and run with it. I will start my new life's journey learning from other people, and bending and turning it all to work for me. I know that I will probably have one of those bad days, I'm not perfect but I will try! Thank you for the advice and I will keep you posted. I can't wait!!

  4. I just feel that my ignorance to the post op part of life, made me the enemy. Like I said, I just said it all wrong the first time. Like carolvalen said, I just thought that stuff would make people sick or that the stomach couldn't Handel it nor would I think anyone would want to chance eating it after surgery. Now I know that yes people can eat it and yes they do, I learn something everyday!

  5. Thank you Erp, I really am not judging anyone I have been judge plenty in my life I am a very open minded supportive person and I will always treat people the way I want to be treated! When I posted the first post I did not state or ask it the right way so now I'm the enemy. You are right I am just naive to how people can eat after surgery. Trust me I read I read constantly! I have studied and studied this life that I am about to enter, and I guess I learn something new every day!

  6. Yes I understand what everyone is saying. like I said I do not know how I will be, I guess I'm just praying that I don't want to eat bad. I love junk food, it's my enemy, I don't judge anyone I guess I'm just kinda surprised that they or anyone can stomach that food after surgery, I guess they can, huh. Well yes I will probably eat bad at times because God and I both know I'm not perfect! I just really pray that I don't fall back into these bad eating habits that I have had! Please don't get me wrong I know every one of us is in this same boat and I pray for all of us to do good and make the right choices.
