Well hello DSdunne, I'm glad you shared that. I my self am a shorty at 5 feet tall and I weigh 170 lbs. so when I started telling people that I was thinking about the sleeve , they would say " you don't need that ,you're not big enough for that surgery" oh and how that runs over me like cold water! They don't know what it's like to be short and FAT! Nor have they ever seen me at the weight I should be, so who are they to tell us what we need. So I stopped telling people and went on my quest and now have my surgery for March 11. I feel you completely! We will show them, won't we. Good luck to you and to all the best health. Nikkidoodlebug

Thank you both, I am going to arlington tx to a dr clayton frenzel. He is very well known in that area and had a good cash pay price for me. He also does the whole process from beginning to end for his patients , like breast , tummy tucks, body lifts. Etc... I think I will need a boob lift later. Lol!! So I look forward to my journey. Thank you all for being so understanding of us "lightweights" I myself am 5' tall and I weigh 170 lbs. Now with that being said, I should weigh 110 at my ideal weight. I am considerd obese! I have high blood pressure due to my weight, I have adult onset asthma, I have sleep apnea, and I am absolutely miserable! So yes I want to stop all of my bad health problems before they get any worse. I will be sleeved on March 11 2015. I can't wait!
