Oh my the gas pain in the shoulder is awful!! I just had surgery Wednesday the 11th and then again Friday the 13th late. So I have to deal with this pain again , it sucks!! Take one day at a time that's all we can do.

Thank you I feel a little better today so I will just take one day at a time!! Hope I can go back to work when I need to though, that's on the 25th so I just pray.

Well last night around 11:00 pm they took me back to the O.R. And had to have a second surgery, my stomach was going up into my esophagus and that is why nothing could go down. So now I'm in hella pain because he had to suture my stomach down in place and loosen up the hernia he repaired the first surgery . So now I have a drain pump that I have to have for a week and then go back to have it removed. So has anyone had this happen to them. I just can't wait to feel better

@@Bonawanabfree I had mine yesterday and I feel awful! The fluid is not going to my stomach so I have to stay another day. Ugggh!! Well I hope we both get to feeling better soon. I am one who wants to be well and happy everyday! So this feeling sucks

Sitting here in my hotel room and all I can do is worry! I am so scared about tomorrow,it makes me sick to my stomach. I just pray to God that I have a successful process. I wish I could not have much pain, and no sickness, but I know that's asking too much. Just pray it's not as bad as I here some people say!! Tomorrow here I come!!

@@tattooedmum72 yep that's me I can work out everyday at the gym and never loose a pound,even when I am eating right so I decided to get the sleeve!

@@Elode well it's done! Yesterday was a long day and the worry is over, now I just have to get thru this rough part. So I started drinking but I knew something was wrong and about 3:00 this morning I started throwing up and so they did the upper g I and it shows that the fluid is not going down. My throat is too swollen from the hernia repair that it won't let the liquid down so now I have to stay longer and wait for swelling to go down and then hopefully be able to drink without it coming right back up. So I'm just taking it one day at a time and I pray I will feel better soon!

@@Elode Thank you I am now awake and I just have to take one step at a time today and then tomorrow, I will keep fighting!

It's 10:33 Tuesday night of march 10, 2015 and in the morning I begin my new life! I am so nervous and scared, I just don't know how this is going to go for me. The not knowing is really hard for me. Everyone has such different pain amounts and sickness, so I just don't know how my body will react so that makes me scared. Well good luck to me!

Awww. I'm sorry. I really hope I'm not hungry, that is one of my fears, is that I'm going to be starving and I don't want that!! I really hope that it gets better for you! Try to drink your protein, hopefully that can help. Good luck

Oh my I'm really getting scared I want to back out!! I just found out yesterday that I have a hernia as well, so he will have to fix it as well. I am so so nervous!! 5 more days and I'm going to "pain hell" I pray

Well I'm having a rough week, I'm suppose to be on this pre-op diet but I've had my honey in the hospital sense I was to start the diet. So I've been trying to do my best away from home. Then on top of all my stress I get a call this evening that with my upper GI they found my hernia, great!! And I guess what, I'm cash pay so that's an extra 1000.00 after just paying them 10,500.00 cash!!! I'm so tired! I don't know how I'm gonna get this 1000 dollars but I have to do it! Wish me luck

So I am licensed by the Texas Lottery commision and I am a Bingo Caller! I love my job, I give away lots of money and make people happy! So I deal with A Lot of people, including a lot of overweight people. So I have this women that plays bingo, and has for years! Always feels compelled to say to me, " you're getting sooo FAT!" The first time she said it to me I was crushed and didn't know what to say. She has said this sort of thing a few times over the years and I am just floored! I just go and cry. So last night at work was by a different lady that has also been a long time customer, comes up to me and says, " YOURE GETTIN SO FAT, YOURE GETTIN UGLY!" I mean what do you say to that! Ok so let me stop and tell you the real shocker of it all, my coworkers are ALL WAYYY bigger then me, one weighs about 400 lbs, another one is about 350 lbs, my boss is about 200lbs, another one is about 200lbs. So! Tell me, why me? Why am I the one that gets all of the flack. I just went to the office and cried, I just can't wait to get my surgery done and start loosing and having the last laugh!

I would just go to mexico!! "Just sayin"

Wow!! That's a long pre-op diet! I was just given mine ( for two weeks) and I thought that was bad! Well I pray for you, and just hang in there! I'm day two and it already sucks!!

Well it's only 2 weeks away! I never thought this time would get here. I go tomorrow to do all of my pre-op stuff and now it's getting real!! Wow! I hope everyone is doing well and please pray for me!! Good luck to everyone!

So I went today and got my upper GI done ( that was awful)!! And my blood work done. So I was told last visit that I would not need to do a pre-op diet because of my BMI being on the low side, so I have been happy about that......until today!! I was told today that I have to start the pre-op diet, THAT SUCKS!! I mean slap in the face unprepared!! So all day I've wrapping my brain around it, that's how I work. If I am aware of something I just get ready and go with it, but when it just jumps out at me it sucks!! So I went and bought some lean cuisines, shakes and Popsicles and tomorrow it starts!! Good luck to me and everyone else!!!
