I'm actually going to meet with a plastic surgeon tomorrow! I carried my fat all over but predominately in my chest and stomach. At minimum I'll need a tummy tuck and breast lift. I look great with clothes on though! I wear compression shirts that hold my loose skin close to my body and no one can tell I even have it. When I'm naked however...is a completely different story. Here is a pic to sum it up:

I hit my goal weight of 160 today! I still want to lose another 5 lbs so I'll have a bounce range. Before: After:

Yayy????????????!!!! That is wonderful! I too think I am going to need a tummy tuck and breast lift once this is done. Are you looking to do plastics in the States or abroad? I have one local consult and one in Mexico.

Update! I got down to 161.0! One little tiny pound from my goal weight!!! By the way, I've contacted two plastic surgeons for consults. I'm hoping to have a tummy tuck and possibly a breast lift by May. I'm so nervous! But I most definitely need to fix those two things. I've noticed I get stabbing pains in my breasts when I run. I've gotten new bras but it only happens when I run. My stomach is where I carry the majority of my loose skin. I still have some on my arms and legs but I can live with those for now.

Yes, I really liked the 12 day aftercare but people had incisions opening up up to 3 months post op or developing seromas that needed to be drained later and while my PCP is great I don't think he would remove my hundreds of stitches for me. I still submitted a consult with Dr. Laura Carmina Cardenas in Tijuana so I have my bases covered but I'm not 100% comfortable with Mexico. I love her results. It's the lack of in-person follow ups I'm worried about.Your stitches aren't removed. Nearly all of your stitches will be subdermal and disolve on their own. You may spit a couple, but you can just pull them out with tweezers. The only stiches I had that needed to be removed were in my belly button, at my drain sites, and where the lipo wand had been inserted. It was a total of maybe 12 stitches? And Dra. Cardenas removed them before I flew home. Thanks for the info! I guess each surgeon is different. I was reading of some having to find another PS here to remove all their stitches and didn't feel comfortable with that. I can't wait to have my consults so I can get a better feel for what is best for me. Are you still thinking about going back to get your legs done?

On a side note, my mom said she will alter her work schedule to help with showers, incisions and compression garment. She can also ask my grandma to come down and help. Dad and Husband will be my day caretakers getting me food and drink and helping me around.

I submitted a request for a consult with a local PS!!! I'm so nervous/excited. I also researched a LOT on Mexico but I am really worried about the follow up care. If I have any issues I want to be able to drive 45 minutes to my surgeon's office and have him help. There's going to be a LOT of incisions and I want to be close to home. My biggest issue will be finding someone who can help me shower, tend to my incisions and help me in and out of the compression garments.

I'm shooting for end of May, beginning of June at the latest. Have you researched Dr. Sauceda? But she is known as the "tummy tuck queen" so that's comforting.

I'm in!!! @@Elode and I are already sleeve twins. We had our surgery done on the same day. Might as well have our plastic surgery on the same day!

I don't just want someone to hack my loose skin off. I want contouring and muscle repair so I can have a sexy, flat tummy. Those surgeons leave too much fat and skin IMO. I need a PS who is an artist and can see my body's potential.

I'm going to try apple pie today.Yeah had the cinnamon roll one this morning and it was definitely sweeter. Lemme know what you think of the Apple Pie! That and the vanilla almond have always been my favorites. I enjoyed the Apple Pie. It was still slightly too sweet for my taste but I wouldn't be opposed to having one in my purse for an emergency meal.
