I'm in the early stages of my WLS journey. I have had my first appointment with my surgeon, Dr. Walton in Edmond, OK at Weightwise Bariatric Center (8/25/2014) and have already done the initial blood work and EKG. I've got my sleep study scheduled for 10/2/2014 and a meeting with the NUT and for my psych eval on 9/23/2014. I currently need to lose 38lbs pre-op to be cleared for surgery. I'm hoping that I can reach that target and be scheduled prior to the first full week of November. Because I work in retail store, I can't be out of work any later than mid-November so if I don't reach my target, I'll have to wait until January. Since making up my mind to do this, I am super impatient and want to get this over and my new life started (I'm sure we all feel that way). :)

I'm just here looking for advice and additional support. I have a very close and supportive circle of friends and family but they don't/won't always understand what I am going through.
