I was sleeved on 9/3. The only pain I have is around my belly button which is the largest incision. This has been a wonderful experience for me. I was able to get out today and walk around Chinatown. I feel fantastic...just a little weak. I am having a hard time getting all the protein in, but I keep sipping on the shake! Down 14 pounds but this includes the two weeks of liquids prior to surgery.

I had the sleeve with Dr. Hanna on Wednesday, September 4th. I am doing great! I will go back to see him next week. Out of pocket expenses will change for everyone based upon your insurance coverage. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and I have paid $1200.00 for Dr. Hanna, $131.25 for the hospital, I haven't gotten the bill for anesthesia. I was at North Vista Hospital on Lake Mead. The staff there were fantastic!!

Hi! I am Stephanie and I was sleeved on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. I feel great today...it is my first full day home from the hospital. I am getting my water in, but my protein is another story. Every time I drink anything I feel these bubbles and then I burp. Maybe I am drinking too much at a time? My doctor is Bernie Hanna at Las Vegas Bariatrics and I had my surgery at North Vista Hospital. My post-op visit is on Thursday, September 11th.
