  1. I had the sleeve done on 9/15/14. Ive lost only 35 lbs. I haven't lost a pound in almost 2 months. But I've lost tons of hair. The stress this has caused is insane. My hair was thin to begin with but full of life. Now you can see straight through my scalp. Not losing weight and my hair has me DEPRESSED.
  2. Hi everyone! Since ive been working I havent logged in in a while. Ive been on slow mode and its making me crazy! On the 15th of December I make 3 months post op and i feel like I can eat and eat and eat. Which scares me... Ive lost 30 lbs. but when I tell you im always hungry it becomes dangerous for me since I am a diabetic. My doc took me off protein since they were giving me so much pain. But I am taking all my vitamins. Enough about me. Who's everyone? How much have you lost?
  3. Thank you both for your feedback. I was feeling better a few days ago but now it's starting to hurt again. I guess I'll have to wait through the weekend to ask my surgeon. Another thing I've noticed here in the forum is that most have the largest incision on the left while mine is on the right. Curious to why...
  4. I've had surgery exactly 1 month ago and ]near or under my large incision I still feel pain especially in the evenings. Does anyone else feel that way or is it something I should worry about? I would appreciate the feedback since it's driving me a little nuts...
  5. @theblissfulnatural. I was sleeved 9/15/14 and I had a horrible first two weeks. Gassy, couldn't take the protein well and always tired. Today I feel better even though I still feel achy and tired but nothing like the first few days. .I've read about people who hardly go through anything after surgery. I was not so lucky but it does get a lot better. Just follow your MDs instructions. Good luck!
  6. @@Pwfnp hi hope your well. I've learned to use Isopure. Recommended by another sleever here. It doesn't cause me pain and taste good. Good luck!
  7. Hi all! I went to my 1st follow up today. I've lost 21lbs. YAY! They're letting me start stage 2, finally. I just made very thin oatmeal. Yummy.
  8. I went to see my PCP today. And she changed my prilosec to protonix since I'm having really hard time with the protein shakes. They cause me so much freakin' PAIN. Then I took a walk and filled my prescriptions. I was out for about 3 hours and I have no energy left. Need a nap.
  9. @@LAG I bought unjury, it was the first I bought and still causes me pain.
  10. Thank you. Ill try to get some today.
  11. Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well! I can't take the protein shakes. They give me horrible pain. I'm not sure if it's gas or reflux or something else. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I tolerate all other liquids fine.:/
  12. Ive been vaping for well over a year now and truly slowed down a bunch since I had the sleeve on 9-15. I lowered my nic to 4mg from 18mg but still worried. I do what I can but worrying about EVERYTHING I do just makes everything worse ie: pain, panic that something will go wrong, etc....
  13. @@JCP, on 9-15. Can't sleep for long either. But in your case increased mobility may have pushed you too much. The way I feel I truly don't understand how some are a ready to go back to work after a few days.
  14. @@JCP that one large incision on the right hurts too. And your right, as long as I'm sitting or resting I'm ok. When I get up and walk around it hurts something bad.
