I have had a really hard time during this 3 month weight loss program to lose any weight. I know some of it is my fault but not all. Has anyone been approved even though they gained weight during this phase? I'm really nervous and afraid this is going to hold me back! I already drink Protein shakes for Breakfast and lunch but then go home and eat a huge dinner. Help!!!

Since no one helped me I will let you guys know what happened. I worked really hard and got back down to my original weight prior to my last weighin...YAY!!!! I called the insurance company today who stated they had no received my paperwork yet. I am too anxious and not patient enough! How long does CIG have to answer on an inpatient surgery?

Hi ALL! I am currently in the 89+ day weight loss management stage. October 29th is my last weigh-in. My questions is, what happens if you gain weight during this period? Will CIGNA deny you because of it?

If you log in to your myCIGNA account, in the search option type in plan documents, you can pull up a Certificate of Coverage which will explain what your specific plan covers. I was able to locate mine and found the only reference to weight loss surgery was in the Exclusions area and states that it will not be covered if it is not medically necessary.
