1st 3 days were tough, hungry, headache, cranky... Lol it didn't last long. Now I am sooo great, I'm so ready n excited that I'm not really that hungry. I haven't cheated (prob 1st time ever) I just want this so much. Best thing to do is to have the right liquids n foods available, read everyone's journey in this app, I have learned so much and everyone's is different and important to them, and try to move, even if it just a little more. I have a bad ankle right now and can not walk far, so I have been doing light weights at home and exercise from the floor or chair ! Lol Good luck!!! Just keep your eye on the prize ????????

I had gout for the first time last year and it hasn't been and issue. Now I'm almost done with 2 weeks pre op high protein liquid n the gout came back. Will it get better if I'm going to spend my future life on high protein? What do you do beside drink a lot water. I'm am already doing that and still got it? Pls help

very similar with me, I should have been done a month ago, had to me my own advocated and make endless calls to insurance because my docs office insurance person was not returning calls or following up. Even after I got my date I still was running around to get the right paperwork faxed to the right doctors. I'm 9/16 now, Hang in there, a new life is on the Horizon????

Just got my time too - 3:30 PM on Tuesday.. Lol It's gonna be a tough waiting game all day Tuesday for me!!!

The Hospital just called me with my surgery time for 9/16 ... 3:30 pm. Ugh. Said not liquids from midnight before even though it is almost dinner the next day, any suggestions? I'm so excited, just bummed about spending the entire day waiting.. Thirsty and hungry.

o gratulations!!! Keep us posted. Sounds like you are doing great, gives me some hope, who is ur doctor/ Hospital?

I'm on the fence... sleeve is 9/16 n have not told coworkers, I've been there 5 years. I work in outside sales from home n on the road n only see them at our monthly meeting. My family n close friends know, I figure when I loose a lot of weight n they see me, I can share then in person if I want. Is that silly? I'm not sure?
