Gadget Lady, Well if the pediatrician is not concerned maybe it's an age thing but i've raised three and the only one with a "habbit" (nail-biting) will turn 17 tomorrow and is still at it with full force, so i'm not so sure they grow out of these things without help. hmm... come to think of it, I never gave him help with that.. so maybe I should munch on what I dish.. so to speak ))

Why not, instead of finding your daughter a non-destructive OCD habbit (is there such a thing? i don't think so), get her to a therapist to help her out? You may be setting good things in motion for her )))

To those of you who have used her office for a fill, was she professional? Did everything go as planned? Did your fill hit the "Sweet spot"? Thanks, Gail:)

Hi there desperate, I would suggest contacting doctors who do the surgery who are not in a group, and offering them your time/experience/work in return for the surgery. That may accomplish two goals: 1. get you the surgery faster and 2. get the Dr. to know you, so when you have earned enough "credits" there will be less wait time. You can even work from home answering phones or doing stuff over the internet.. ask them, it won't hurt. Gail 222/210/130

Hi there.. I just got banded 10/19.. not a pain-free day for you either, from what I read here... I read the thread about your surgeries, the running, the weight loss, the triumphs and I wanted to say congrats on it all.
