Waist trainers.....what's the scoop?
nieuwevis replied to sassyfrass23's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I thought the same thing before surgery.. I even didn't think my friend needed skin removal surgery before she had hers.. now that I have it, I feel differently though. I could fit almost 2 sizes smaller if I had a tummy tuck. I'm still losing weight, and I truly didn't think I would consider plastics...the rny was my 2nd surgery, c-section 13 months earlier was my first...surgery always scared me and I thought "no way will I risk that for nice belly"...lol my tune is rapidly changing. I can so clearly see my smaller body under my bigger skin, having to choose more forgiving fabric cause my upper arms and thighs are pretty huge. It sucks...I remember being younger and being in-between sizes and having to go up a size, and now I'm much smaller and have to go up a size cause of the extra skin! But I won't seriously consider plastics until I've built more definition. -
still 160. thanks!

i still haven't gotten the courage yet to order myself something online. the last thing i got was a torrid swimsuit, their smallest size hoping that by the time i needed it that it would fit, and it was too big. all the different vanity sizes make me nervous to order something and it not fit! -
lol nice! i truly thought i was neckless til one day she sprouted up!

local tragedy has the single women in a panic
nieuwevis replied to CowgirlJane's topic in The Lounge
People who are up to I good are usually pretty good at hiding it.lol i have to admit that i love that it's hard to find personal info about myself online...not impossible, though, but a quick search doesn't show much. -
local tragedy has the single women in a panic
nieuwevis replied to CowgirlJane's topic in The Lounge
no one here seems to be claiming that one should no longer date online, which i thought might be the conversation...i had more than a few people worried about me when i was online dating my now husband and baby daddy. and i agree that it isn't at all comforting to know that one is more likely harmed by one he or she knows, but that fact can help people see a bit of perspective...that one medium isn't necessarily better or worse than the other, and caution, common sense, and that gut feeling is always important. people tend to get blinded into all-or-nothing thinking when a tragedy occurs...and this one is truly heartbreaking...i have a small child myself. i know it's instinctive but it can cause us to overreact and see danger at every corner...this is also no way to live. everything must be in balance. -
good morning! cw 162!
