  1. I know what it is. I experienced it myself. Ive experienced it before on any procedure where they put air in the stomach for blowing it up to do surgery! this is what it is. The air goes places and will settle like in your chest or in your back or shoulder. Usually its in my shoulder. So the pain in the shoulder is the WORST. it feels like a heart attack in the shoulder. THEY SAY if you walk, that will help take away the air in your stomach/shoulder/where-ever. But I dont know if that works. It slowly goes away, but I'm on my 3rd week post-op and I guess I had that shoulder pain for lets see - 2 weeks straight. I kept saying "when the heck is this going to stop?" thing is, it slowly turns into "just when you reach down" then "just when you reach down really far" to "just occasionally." It will go away.
