Ok... Today I had my second fill and im kinda restricted My question is... When my doctor put the niddle in he withdrawn some liquid so im wondering when he put 5cc in is that ontop of the 3cc already in or he just removed the 3cc and placed 5cc? To me it seems 5cc cause i dont think he would jump from 3cc to total 8cc in 10cc band...

here a small nsv for me... Well I told myself that I wasnt going to buy pants till I lost alota weight well... I gave in and purchased 1 size 40 jeans (old ones 44 which at times was tight before band) and well past 2 days... they started to become very loose =O I can take off pants without unbutton also ;p gotta stick to that gym =)

Ya it was a typo.. my mistake :biggrin2: I put a goal of 20 pounds and I know its alot but it something I can push and if I even get close to that number.... ill be real happy. Guess i'm in rush to get below 200's :cursing: Which I havent seen for a long.. time..... and also summer coming... gotta attract those girls :drool: -
I go in for fill 2morrow so I hope they dont give me little cause im down couple pounds from last weight ...

3 Month update and Goal

I guess I should get this started soo.....oo... I've lost 53pound since I started this Lapband journey and Its been at times a hard and confusing and big headache at times.. but I have to give it to myself for loosing 53 pounds which seem to staying steading and not gaining So... for the month of March I'm hoping to loose atleast 15-20pounds before April. to help me get pushed into this direction I have purchased bodybugg which helping me keep cal count, cal lost, and steps. I have also started...well not started but have increase my gym time to everyday and atleast 1hour to 1 1/2 hour in the morning to help increase my body weight lost. Family meeting in July 4th, so im going to really push myself in looking better and shocking everyone =) I am single and no kids but I do have to work 2 jobs at certain days of the week so I know a little on how hard it is to push yourself to the gym... I'm waking up at 6:30am to go to gym (minus 20-30min drive) and workout till 8:30 to work till 5:15 and start second job from 5:30 to 10pm and get home to crash at 10:45/11pm.... I know with kids it is harder to get free time but any additional workout will be a big benefit in the long run. blahh... i'm not here to preach -

This past week n' half I been working out every morning and just recently purchased bodybugg. story: After taking couple days and filling up the website on the food I eat during the day.. I was watching the cal I eat but I didnt log the whole day and also seeing how much cal I get..... Like eatting or drinking something it say 1 serving but the whole can or bottle is actually 2 or 2.5 serving =O that stuff just add up quick. Plus I been kinda lucky with google and finding records of food nutrient when they not available on website but I like to add a additional 50-80 cal ontop of what they say. So on days with workout and my 2 jobs, im burning more then 3.8k cal and eatting 1.2k-1.3k day...oh and 12k walking steps. If I only work 1 job and no workout..... 2.2k burn and 1.2k-1.3k cal and 7-8k steps = slow weight lost. Guess that mean I should keep up the working out everyday (been about 1 1/2 week so far) and I cant wait till March 5th when Pool open at gym and March 4th for second fill =P

Ok... I had to cancel my order today. I order yesterday for total 194+everything=214$ and I go online to check order status and it is still pending then I seen a advertisement flash by.......... 199$ till 2/29/08, so with 10% off ontop of it is only 169.10+everything=not sure So.. I sent email and hopefully they can cancel or modify order so i can get that price.

Well... I just spent 214$ to help me better monitor myself. I'm hoping this will give me a better idea of how much cal im losing and taking in. It seems alota people use Bodybugg and swear by it so I guess I can give it a try... and if it dont work then I guess I can always EBAY it ;p

I just purchased one... forgot to check for return policy ;/ Purchase 194.10 w/tax n shipping it came to 214.70, 10$ cheaper not including tax cost if bought at 24hour gym.(224$+tax) Is the digital display worth getting? ($89.95) I heard it was offered as low as 69.00$.. guess i can wait.

I'm really thinking on buying one of these since I recently got Lapband 12/03/07 and lost about 50pounds till now but it seems like for last couple weeks I been bouncing around 243-247 and getting me depressed. ok enough of that.... My question is regarding about the food log you keep online. I'm sure not every food in world is not in database so it has option in creating custom food info... how acurate info you get with cal, fat, nut, and so on???

I was at a stand still for couple weeks also... I know this is normal and most of us seem to expect each week the weight to drop off and then we soon find out that not the truth.... Just take it slow I stay away from chocolates and other sweets but if I really want them then I try to go with sugarfree stuff... even though most of them taste funny =P Atleast you are arent gaining all the weight back and keeping it controled. Even though we have this band inside... people have gained back some or even all the weight back.. so becareful on remind yourself its just a tool to help and you yourself is in control and if you loose control you will gain it back. lol anyways... good luck

If you are still eatting alot, feeling hungery, and not loosing much weight then I suggest calling up doctor office and try setting up another appointment sooner. I called mine up, which i'm seeing next week instead of first part of April. I have started eatting more and getting hungery... so I placed myself onto a modifed liquid diet to help control myself and prevent gaining while waiting for next fill. Good luck.... Side Note: When I do end up eatting dinner time... I like to eat small portion and then fill up on like Apple Slices or some kind of fruit.... before band... I fill myself up with coke and chips or any other bad for you Snacks :biggrin:

I called my doctor up and told them im not getting any restriction and i'm also have increase my eatting and hungery alot more. I'm at 245 right now and I should be happy that I have lost some weight since my last fill which was at 255. so my new appointment is now next week instead of 3 more weeks.

Mine right now is 77k but they are telling me that they are missing some paper work that they requested and it past the 45 days and they may not cover surgery. No way im going to pay 77k myself. I called them up and they said they needed a operative report... which the insurance lady on phone said she not sure why they still needed that paper work when they already approved surgery. So i gotta wait 3 weeks to get response from claims department if they really need that paper work or can they go ahead... -
I told myself that I wasnt going to buy any pants till I loose alota weight but I couldnt help myself and purchased 1 pants this weekend. I used to wear 44 and was sometime tight, so I bought me a pair of 40 and they fit and little loose... cant wait to fit into 36/38 again. Last time I wore that size... I was in college =O wow that was many years ago but I was still chubby then....maybe size 32 in future =P

I'm down about 50pounds.. 4th July coming soon, meeting family which I havent seen about year. We going to Las Vegas... so I'll be able to show off my new self =) I want to be down atleast 30 more pounds before seeing them. That only 6 pounds a month??? I can do that.. lol -
You should be at a good amount lost when you go on your cruise.

Your doctor likes making you come back all the time? Didnt he deny you on first fill visit? or was someone else post? I had appointment in April but I called doctor, so now i got new appointment on 4th March for second fill. :mad: You seem to be loosing at a good amount, keep up good work

Well my weight lost has been very slow so I restarted a little modified liquid diet to get my body a push start into losing weight again. Started with B-Liquid, L-reqular food, D-Liquid. I hope this get it's it going again then I'll go back to reqular food. I been stuck at 245-249 for 3weeks and it getting me mad =( I'll increase working out soon but working 2 jobs.... my hours available are limited but i gotta find time. I called my doctor and they told me I can come back in for FILL but I gotta wait for 3 more weeks before I go in. Each fill can only be 6week between, well it better then waiting 3months like they told me on last visit.

So far the liquid breakfest and dinner and regular lunch has been going ok. I'm down to 243 (morning) and 245 (night), and I been feeling ok. So i'll keep this up for 1 more week and then stop and go back to regular food. I have also called my doctor and reschedule my fill, which will be done in 3 weeks. I was feeling hungry and I didnt feel to much restriction or at all. Hopefully after fill it will make it alittle easier to control reg food. I really want to hit 200's by 4th July for family gathering. (5months)

I think im getting a ok amount of calories with this type of diet cause im not completely starving my body and getting atleast 70+ gram of protien a day (depending on what for lunch... ) and each drink is like 250cal & 30gram protien. Plus I think im only doing this for 1 week (maybe 2), so it shouldnt be that bad I'll also check the forum also under food and see what other people are eatting to get a better idea. I just cant wait to loose about 25 more pounds... which is the weight when I was in 20's =) (225-218)
