@ I wish water didn't cause me to spasm so much I'm not a big fan of Gatorade,and all these sugar free drinks are starting to coat my tongue

@@Rogofulm It's room temp Water I don't like ice cold water, never did. I will definitely try crystal light also. I've been doing half water half sugar free apple juice which seems too sweet still for some reason.

Hi Alyce, I had my surgery last Wednesday and I don't go into the next phase until September 10th as well. I don't believe you cheated at all, sometimes I feel as if I'm doing the wrong things because all of this is so new to me, I wonder if the same thing might be happening to you as well? Were you able to tolerate the applesauce? I think that would be the biggest concern. Have a great WL journey! Kandis

@@jelmore8312000 I'm starting to realize that stage 3 diets vary depending upon the surgeon. My stage three diet looks more like a stage two with yogurt and pudding. There's no pureed food, I only tried pureed foods and mashed potatoes because I saw it in another stage three diet, but I can have scrambled egg whites, and those are the hardest to digest! We're on an amazing journey indeed, there's gonna be major ups and downs, but I know we can get through it!! Best of luck!

Hi Vanessa, I had my surgery a week ago today, and like you I haven't lost a single pound. At first I was scared that I wasn't following the stage three diet correctly, I also felt that I had been set up for failure because I was sent home on the stage three diet. Then I realized I was being crazy and paranoid because I remember reading on different forums that lots of people didn't drop weight right away. I know it's frustrating but what has helped me to keep from focusing on it so much is focusing on my liquid and Protein goals, which have been hit or miss for past week. I'm glad I found this topic, if I make mashed potatoes like a Soup, ( with cottage cheese and soy milk), I can eat it, I can tolerate pudding and greek yogurt if I eat slowly, (30-45 minutes per meal). I too felt as if I can eat too much even though I was sleeved a week ago today. My surgeon and her team let me leave the hospital on a stage 3 diet. The other day I had a few slices of pureed roast chicken and broth and I ate it as a soup. I tolerated it okay, but I started feeling as if I was eating too much or moving too fast. Thank you so much for creating this post, if you, (or anyone), has any tips, or believes I am moving too fast please let me know, my follow-up isn't until the 10th of September and I feel as if I'm doing things wrong even though I'm sticking to the plan, ( weird I know!)
