Sleep Disorder
Sleeve2bFree~Tlea replied to Sleeve2bFree~Tlea's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take all my Vitamins in the morning before 11am... I think... I've had a little trouble taking all my meds so I'm not on a schedule anymore. It takes the whole day to get them all in and sometimes not all of them get taken. I do take all my Vitamins though. They may have gotten spaced out later in the day at times. Somedays what and when I take is whatever I think I can stomach at the time. I'll pay more attention to that and see if it helps. Thanks! -
August 26 Sleevers
Sleeve2bFree~Tlea replied to Sandi in FL's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi everyone, I'm just arriving here on this forum. I too am an August 26er. I've read all your back threads. Sounds like everyone's doing very well so far. I started off very rocky. I was in so much pain when I woke up. Stayed in pain for about 2 1/2 days. I was not expecting that part at all. I feel like I'm alone on that part though. It sounds like all of you did real well on that part. I'm a chronic painer from before ( interstitial cystitis & back issues), so maybe I'm just sensative or something. Anyhow, slowly but surely the pain is fading. I went to Sam's club with my hubby yesterday. I thought that would be good since everyone consistently says 'walk, walk, walk'. We were there about an hour and half way into it I started hurting. I was down for the rest of the evening. Again I'm feeling alone in the pain issues. I guess that's just par for the coarse, I've dealt with the lonely pain issues for years. That was one of the big reasons I decided to have this surgery. I want to sleep better, be healthy, get off some of these meds and feel better. Hope I didn't go on for to long. Would love to hear from any of you. You ladies seem great. -
Highly considering Sleeve Surgery .. Any takers on their experience? :)

I think it's pretty different for most. I am 8 days post. The first few days were difficult for me. After that every day I felt a little better. Although, you can start feeling too good and over do it. Which is what I did and why I'm back in resting mode again. I don't know how some people go back to work so quickly afterwards. It is quite an adjustment. I don't feel sick or anything like that but I am very tender. I think the biggest issue I've had has been taking all my meds. Swallowing pills is uncomfortable, I can only take one at a time. It takes a bit for things to settle so I have to wait 10 or 15 minutes before taking the next one. I take a lot of meds. Nothing I wasn't informed about. There's just a large adjustment period. I am still positive and excited about the future. It is a new beginning. -
Bless your heart ranece. It is hard. I did the same thing. Before I started my diet it was No Holds Bar. Nothing was off limits and I wanted to try a little bit of everything. My own bon voyage party. I did my liquids before surgery and lost a bit of weight (which was the goal) and no harm done. I'm 8 days post and glad I had all my favorites before hand.

I've always wanted to do this! After spending all that time and money I hated seeing myself in this photo. It sits on the mantel behind other photos. -
