I had my surgery Thursday, September 25th. I was back at work on Monday and did perfectly fine.

I have been a very slow loser as well. My surgery was September 25th, 2014. I am down 63 pounds. But at the same time, I have already lost 14 inches in my waist alone. So don't get discouraged at the number as I have in the past. Trust me, the inches are flying off of you. My starting weight was 222 and now I weigh 159. But I look a lot smaller than 159. When I tell people I have 19 pounds left to go to hit goal they tell me I am too skinny now and 19 pounds would make me look sick. I am 5'4 1/2 so 140 is definitely not an unhealthy weight for me.

My entire cost for the surgery itself was $12,300.00. The only other bill I received was from the lab for almost $300.00.

I was self pay. From the date of my consultation to the day of my surgery was 2 weeks and 3 days. Went quickly.

I was sleeved on September 25, 2014. The weight was coming off wonderfully. Now, not so much. I started at 222 and currently weigh 170. I haven't lost anything at all since before Christmas. I am doing everything I have been told to do by the doctor to be successful but the numbers are stuck. I have tried eating more on some days to see if it will jump start it. But nothing. Is this long of a stall normal?

I decided to jump back on the preop diet for a day and I have no idea if that is what helped, but stepped on scale this morning and it's moving again. Down to 165 as of this morning. So 5 more pounds lost since I made this post. Thanks everyone.

My surgery was at 7 am on September 25,2014. By noon they had me up walking the halls around nurses station. I was discharged at 5 pm.

Day of surgery I weighed 222. Today,I am down to 170. Had my surgery on September 25, 2014. I'm still losing and feeling amazing. Good luck.

I had doubts too. MANY!!! I was sleeved on September 25th. I'm down 52 pounds and I couldn't be happier. Best decision of my life. I can pretty much eat anything I want to eat, just tiny portions of course. I had surgery on a Thursday and was back to work the following Monday (desk job). This surgery has changed my life in so many ways. I wish you nothing but the best.

I had surgery on Thursday, September 25th and I went back to work Sunday, September 28th for a few hours. I was back full time the next day. So basically I was off three days. I have a desk job and I was completely fine. A little tired but otherwise great. I have had zero issues since surgery. Down 31 pounds since then.
