Denise Perry Durham

Hello my name is Denise Perry-Durham. I am a Christian. I am in my early fifties. Wife and mother of two. I have been on a path to a better me for the past five years. I first tried to control my weight through exercise which worked until I could no longer afford my membership. As time went on the arthritis in my knees became worse and then I was diagnosed with two bulging discs pressing on my spine. Eventually that became worse. I have been planning to have gastric surgery for ten years but due to lack of insurance or little insurance it was not possible.Well August 26, 2014 is the best day of my life. (I had my daughter play that song before going into surgery.) I am glad I had it done, even though I have not reached my goal yet. I truly feel this has begun a new journey in my life, My journey to health.
