I had my surgery yesterday! Everything is going good. I am a little sore, but bearable. I stayed in the hospital last night, because that is what the insurance wanted. I had scr tissue on my liver that had to be removed and my band was stitched on the back side instead of the front. I do not know why I had the scar tissue on my liver, but I guess it is fixed soit is ok! I am so happy that I had the surgery done! I can not wait to start loosing weight! Good luck to everyone that is heading into surgery soon!

I had my surgery yesterday and came home this morning! Everything went well, feeling good just a little sore. I have only taken regular Tylenol for pain, nothing stronger. I hope everyones goes as well as mine did!!!

One more day for me! I get banded on Friday and I am so exited, but very nervous too!!! Good luck to everyone going on the 1st and I will post after my surgery.

I would like to meet on Monday. I have class at 6 at Kingwood College, but I could maybe stop by for a few minutes anyways... Post the time and place for sure and I will try to make it. I am getting banded on Friday so I will of course be lliquids only. I will be a cheap ticket!

OK, I would never ask this to anyones face... I have a piercing in my private girl area. Does that have to be taken out during surgery? Do I ask the Nurse to do it and put it back in? I am so embarresed. My mom will be with me the day of surgery and I would be mortified if my mom found out. What should I do?

I am getting banded on 11/2/07 by Dr. Spiegel and I could not be more excited. When my insurance approved me, I only had to wait 2 weeks for my surgery date. He is a great doctor and I would have waited longer just to use him if I would have had to.
