Jay You poor bugger!!! I hope you are feeling better soon!! Hope the antibiotics have at least kicked in and the pain is gone!

You've still lost a lot of weight Lellow in a short space of time and your body doe go through phases in its weight loss. We still have to watch what we eat though and try to make healthier choices, The 5th isn't really that far away!!

Sometimes the anaesthetic can knock you around for a while but hang in there, I am sure it will get better. Just ensure you keep up the eating etc

That is unfortunate but at least it isn't months away and you'll still be an All Star :wink2: I hope you can handle the diet for a few more weeks!! Good luck! -

Started my preop today a few days early. Stupid me though decided to also concrete a 5mx2.5mx0.15m area. Dad helped too, but Barrowing 1M of concrete myself and then helping to level it. Then edging it while dad troweled it on not much food wasn't the smartest thing I have done!!:tt2: Looks great though! Didn't think the headaches would start this early and I am really tired (but this could be contributed to by the concreting). I have been cranky too..luckily not too many arguments whilst concreting, well not due to my crabbiness anyway I think I'll be sleeping really well in the coming weeks so I can get over the hunger!! 18 days until surgery! The Positive of starting this diet is it brings the surgery closer and makes me feel excited that this is really going to happen!

Who's Getting Banded in August???
Roheryn replied to Tracyde730's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey Jen, I started mine on Saturday and I have been a good girl!! Just make sure you drink plenty of Water because you do get somewhat dehydrated! Day one wasn't fun, day two was ok, day three has kinda sucked, I'm hoping now I'm heading into day 4 things will start to improve  Just keep persevering as it will only be a few weeks and then you won't feel as hungry as you do during this... for a while anyway Between Sat am and Mon am I have lost 2.4 kilograms!! So seeing that weight loss is very motivating!! Oh and if you are doing the Protein shake (I've been doing Optifast for three meals) use cold water to mix them as it tastes better! -
Good Luck Ange I'm sure you'll be fine!!

Hey Lauralee, I've had Laser eye correction and it is the best thing I have done for myself!! (well until this band I hope  ) It is so great to be able to not have to wear glasses, not have to constantly wipe them clean or dry them if it rains or clear them when they get steamy. -
That is still great Lellow and I have heard it said it isn't good to lose more than 1-1.5kgs per week anyway!!
-
Guys DEFINITELY lose weight better than girls! That is why it is extra specical to have a female win the Biggest Loser!! And hey a weight loss is a weight loss

Hey Ellinida Thanks for the encouragement!! I'm not stressed I think it was more likely I wasn't drinking enough water, doing such a physcal thing for hours and being only day one, the headache was a given anyway and the crabbiness :biggrin2: Have been feeling better, yesterday was easy, today a little harder going back to work (I have been hungrier today) but I am able to push through the hunger and wait for the next meal which is great! And hey I have lost 2.4kg in 2 days!! :frown: I would LOVE to take a hot bath but being on permanent water restrictions here in Aussie land I have given them up in favour of quick hot showers

I LOVE my little 1GB Ipod that is great because it is so little (Slightly bigger than a posatge stamp) and light (and it only cost $64)!!. I have created a folder on my computer that I have saved lots of upbeat songs that I have labelled 'Exercise Folder' it has at least 200 songs on it and I can change this whenever. The little one is great because it is so easy to use and won't jolt around when I wear it exercising -
Hmmmm I might have to give that a go but I'll wait until the weekend...I don't want to risk hating it if I do it during my work week I plan on waiting until I can get to work before having my brekky shake...I'm usually up by 615am and start work at 8am so if I can wait until I get to work, I will be able to manage the hunger better by starting the 'eating' later!! Well I'm going to give it a whirl! I also managed to get some groceries today a LOT quicker than usual and spent $60.00 less :crying:
