hi great new happy for you . i was banded on the 1-03-08 so i am just a week out to i also have lost 10lbs feels good dont it :wink2: i have m 1st fill on 10th april .how about you ?

hievery one thought i would post and say all is good not been here for a while op went fine was banded on 13-03-08 so excatly one week 10lb lost aswell so good all round feeling alot better now have my 1st fill on the 10th april omg nervous about that though hope all is fine for you gus to . i live in dorset so if any onw know of any meetings down here please could you let me know as i am sure this would help us all ( i like to put a face to who i am talking to lol ):wink2:

:ohmy:hi can any one tell me what sort of foods to eat on my 7day pre-op as i have not really got a clue i am self pay and all it says on the paperwork is meat 1 potatoe and veg but no root veg ?? i am getting a little worried as i should of had this op on the 7th feb but i could not due to unforseen problems so i am booked for the 13th march i went to see my surgeon in oct was weighed etc but i have put weight on since :wub: with xmas . birthday. and a 2 weeks hol in the meantime :tt2: do you think i will be ok still or will they tell me i cannot have it i have gained approx 6lbs since i 1st saw them mnany thanks

:help:ok i am wanting the lapband done i think my selection where to have done is going to be southampton spire hospital ( as it is only 1 hour from me ) and the price is not to bad so can any one tell me before i make the appointment on monday to see the consultant how long does the whole process take from that 1st visit are we looking at months or weeks i will be going self funded not sure if this makes a big difference or not i am just so fed up now and i am longing to have this done all i think about is this band none stop looking things up about it but i cannot find no anwsers about waiting time , there is alot of advise on this site thank-you to all please do not think that i am just thinking it is a quick fix as i am not i have done all the diets etc going as i am sure you all have but ended up at my heavest again:angry and i am so ooooo fed up with it all it is getting to the stage that i do not want to go out no more my bmi is 42 arghhh many thanksxx:help:

hi i am from dorset in england i am looking to get a band fitted but my doctors said the wait is very very long cut backs on nhs so i thought i would spend my savings and go private but i do not know where to start there are so many out there wanting your money and offering you the world my bmi is 42 and i am so down and out i think this is my only hope now .please if anyone out there can advise me please do as i am feeling very lost and scared i have heard so much on the net about not going to belguim to have it done because of healthrisks and mrsi etc i would prefer to get it done in england and have all the aftercare to so please if you feel you can help please feel free to mail me many many thanks in advance robyn12 xx:) going to get banded on 13-03-08 yay:thumbup:
