Hi everyone! I was sleeved 43 days ago. Recently when I wake up I have been experiencing abdominal pain. It's minimal, just sore feels like I did some sit ups the night before. I'm not getting sick or have a fever but still scared. Anyone experience this? I've had some heartburn which my doctor said was pretty common that has calmed down but still worries me something serious could be starting. My doc always says if something is wrong I'll know it and maybe I'm sleeping wrong but can't find anyone with this problem. Most have sharp or unbearable pain and I don't just soreness that wasn't there before. If anyone has had this id appreciate the advice. Thanks so much

I don't know exactly. But a girl my friend knew said they had to some how widen the esophagus. What did your doc say they would do. My doc even told me in the post op that if that happened it would be an easy fix

I hope your okay. Please keep us posted and we will keep you in our prayers. I'm sure it's an easy fix. I've heard of that before and I think they would just go and open up wider.

Oh wow. I hope everything works out. I have been having some heartburn after I eat. My pain is around the incision above my belly button. It's not painful just sore like I did some sit ups like the muscle is sore. It's that how you felt?

How do you fix that?

Hi everyone, I'm new and i just have some questions for everyone. ???? I was sleeved on August 27th 2014 so I'm 10 days. Not gonna lie it feels so much longer. I never was addicted to food but I'm def having some blues regarding having only broth and liquid. Seems like I have nothing to look forward to and I know that sounds so stupid but even healthy people base a lot of activities like beach trips and dates on dinners or lunches and I'm her like well can I have some broth lol I know it's gonna be better and I won't care later on when I'm at goal and I have lost ten lbs. and I'm normally such a positive person but I found myself I tears feeling so restricted? Anyone else feel that way ever ? Plus I have what seems the only doc who keeps you liquids for a whole three weeks after surgery not to mention my two week pre op liquid diet. Reading others were able to at least have yogurt and cottage cheese after a week erks haha

I'm glad ally at I was feeling alone as well. I did the same thing lol I even ate a cheeto then spit it out lol!!! I feel like a crazy person.

I don't know how to work this hopefully this works. But thanks so much and you right. It's so nice to have other who are with you and say it's normal because I was feeling cray cray!!! I get tempted because I have friends with the same date as me trying things and saying it's okay and I'm to chicken cu I don't wanna hurt myself. Once I see results and don't feel restricted I knkw I'll feel better. I still don't regret it. I needed it Lord knows I need it ! Thanks everyone

See that's how I was, not the baking but I wasn't a fast foodie or anything. I wouldn't eat all day but I would Pinterest it up and make these huge fattening dinners and just get down. Cooking is a passion of mine and I feel it's gone cuz what's the point, I def don't get excited watching someone else eat my creation while I sit there with a strawberry shake although I do like feeding people good things. I'm sure it will but it's what we are dealing with now and I'm glad I have people to relate with!! Good luck to you to ????

Thanks Alyce, how awesome! Same day sleeved. I haven't seen much of it in the forums so I thought I was alone. Not that I want anyone to be upset just to know it's normal and it will pass. Good luck and can't wait to see us at the end of our journey!! My post op is the 15th and in hoping the same thing

Thank you so much. I was in tears reading your response. You said it, it's feeling seeing others and that dark cloud of am I ever gonna be able to look forward to stuff again. My relationship with food has changed and realization of how much it made things better is really sinking in. I don't even want like a cheeseburger id be stoked for some cottage cheese or a piece of tuna lol thanks so much for your help and feeling not alone

I was sleeved three days ago too alyce! I feel the same way lol I can't picture myself ever eating real food ago because my tummy barely tolerates Broth. Good luck and it's so good to hear others stories.

Just wanting to check in!!!! How are all the August 27th sleevers. I'm home been doing great aside from the pain. Anyone one expierence some heartburn?? Hope everyone is doing great!!! I'm down about 10 lbs since surgery day

Get sleeved tomorrow. Lil nervous because I have a head cold. Did anyone have a cold prior to surgery ?

Hi, I'm having the Gastric sleeve tomorrow and a couple days ago I got a head cold. I called my doc and he said id be fine but I'm still worried. Did anyone have surgery with a cold. I don't have a fever, no sore throat or chest pain and no coughing. But I do feel sick. Just curious if anyone went through with it sick. I have a option to wait, but let's be honest I've done a lot of waiting and I'm ready. Thanks for any help.
