  1. I saw the title and couldn't believe it - I had to find out more. What a relief to hear you are on the way down (in weight). Shows the importance of perspective. Good luck as you continue your weight loss. Great attitude!
  2. I was looking for books to read in the library and picked up a book written by Dr. Roizen and Dr. Oz (recognized the names because they are on Oprah's show). The book is called You, On A Diet: The Owners Manual to Waist Management. I thought it would be just another diet book, but it's not. I'm only about a third of the way thru the book, but so far it's been an eye opener. It explains the body's response to food and how the body works to process food. It's easy to read and great comic illustrations to explain things - not at all like a science manual. For me, it helps to have a visual of exactly what happens to the food and how it affects the body - and make me think twice before I make a bad food choice. I've enjoyed the book, maybe someone else will too.
  3. My soft drink of choice was Diet Dr Pepper - new choices I'm trying are the flavored waters and green tea. Also like diet lemonades. The weaning process is not fun, but I seem to crave it less as time goes by. However, that cola icee sounded good.
