Hi Sherry! I was wondering where you were off to. I can't seem to get my email to notify me when someone posts on this thread either. Can I get some of that blood pressure medication to get my extra pounds off too? I got on the scale this morning and 2.5 of those little suckers jumped on when I wasn't looking. Jules, I'm glad Beanie talked you out of lurker status! I always thought purchasing would be an interesting job. With a masters program and a full time job you're going to be busy! Tell us more - what subject do you want to teach? What age group? Mary, sorry you're feeling under the weather! Good for you for throwing out the pies. It's so hard getting back on track once the guard is down, but you're going to do it! I feel your pain about the car - mine is in the shop today. Just waiting on the call with the estimate - ugh. Time to head to bed. Back to the grindstone tomorrow! Goodnight all.

Hello Everyone, I just made dinner with my new George Foreman grill. I tried chicken breast and it was really good! I went grocery shopping and refused to let myself buy even one "junk food". I bought the kids some pretzels (which I can easily avoid since they make me PB every time) and that's it. Bought lots of fruits and veggies too. I got my formal work offer today. Unfortunately, I have to give up paid holidays if I want to work 35 hours a week instead of 40, but otherwise I get full benefits. The hourly rate is better than I expected, so that was exciting news. I don't own one piece of clothing other than the suit I bought for the interview, which means it's time to shop! I don't plan on being a size 20/22 next winter, so it's killing me to buy this stuff! Fortunately, there are lots of sales going on right now. Dianne, I'm glad you had a nice visit! It's always so nice to be back home, even when I the trip is a fun one. I agree - keep your tree up for a while and enjoy it. I usually take mine down on New Years Day but this year I wanted to enjoy it a little while longer. Jules, that's so cool that you got to meet Cindy and Irene! What type of work do you do? Darcy, good idea waiting until the chest clears up before trying to exercise. Feel better soon! :sick Kat, I'm sorry you were stuck home alone on New Years! Tell DH to give those guys hell. :angry Has your friend made it home yet? What a stressful situation. I've heard all about Colorado but didn't realize that the snowstorms were so widespread. Betty, I feel the same way as you - It's actually a relief to be eating good food again. There's not a baked good in sight, and it feels great. Mary, are you back to work today? Hope you enjoyed your break! Beanie, did I tell you how great you're looking? It's so fun seeing the before and after pics. When is your fill scheduled? How is your Dad doing? It's time to get the kids in the tub. Back to school for them tomorrow! Hugs,
-
Thanks for the pics everyone! Cindy, Jules, and Beanie you guys all look great! I'm green with envy - I hope we all get a chance to meet in person sometime. Dianne, I just happened to be looking at your picture when my 6-year old son walked by. He turned to me and said "Why is she so beautiful?". I've never heard him say anything like that before! Apparently you have a little admirer. Love the tree too!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! I've been walking around in a tired haze today. Had both sisters spend the night last night with their spouses and a total of 7 kids. It was a bit of a madhouse, and everybody just left. Drank too much, went to bed at 4am, and ate all day today. I just spent 1/2 an hour throwing out chocolates, cheesecake, and leftover pizza. I did hold onto a very small box of Godiva that I received for Christmas, but nobody's perfect, right?! Mandy - your new dog is adorable! I'm not good with names but if I get inspired I'll let you know. Eilene, that chocolate fountain looks like a ton of fun. I thought of getting one for the kids so I've been eyeing the ones on sale. What kind of chocolate do you put in there? Cindy, how was the North Texas meeting? I laughed when I read that - it sounds so official! I'd like a copy of the meeting minutes so that we don't miss anything please. :girl_hug: Darcy, congrats on joining the Y. DH and I will be joining the masses heading back to the gym as well. Bah humbug! Alexandra, most of us aren't from Jersey. Shhhh! We'll let you in too if you don't spill the Beans. Beanie, I'm so jealous - you got to meet Cindy today! Hope you guys enjoyed your coffee and chat. Pat, Patty, Mary, Kat, Crispy, Betty, and Sherry (and I'm sure I missed a few!) I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing day off today! :notagree :notagree :notagree Time for me to head to bed. Happy New Year's to All!!

Hi Girlies! Am I the only one who hasn't come down with the death flu yet? I hope you're all feeling better in time to enjoy your New Year's. We're going to have my sister's and their husbands over for a night of games at home. Alcohol will be free flowing as well. Yesterday I made a big bowl of queso and downed the whole thing. The scale was not happy with me this morning, so I'm on board with everyone who wants to have a food exorcism on New Years Day! I went to meet with my old boss about the job and it's official - I start work on January 29th! I work in credentialing (we check the physicians backgrounds to make sure they aren't ax murderers before the get on the medical staff) We're still hammering out the details of my schedule. I'm hoping to work 35 hours/week, but apparently the hospital has changed a lot of their policies and I'd lose most of my benefits if I don't work a full 40. On the plus side, I get my own office with lots of privacy, so I should be able to visit LBT from work without a problem! Beanie, I say go for the elliptical machine! We bought one last Christmas, and while I won't say that I use it nearly as often as I should, I prefer the elliptical to any other kind of exercise. Hmm... now if I could just be like Sherry and get inspired to work out today. Cindy, enjoy your soup and feel better soon! Kat, I give out pics as gifts all the time! Tell your niece she can bite you. Betty, that's funny about the lotion. DH got me a big bottle of cinnamon bun lotion and it smells soooo good. Hmm... could that be why I bought a big container of cinnamon rolls when we were at costco last night? I'm sorry I don't have time for personals for everyone - DD just had an accident so I need to go on cleanup duty. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
-
What a beautiful tree Eilene! I love the bows.
-
Beautiful tree Darcy! I love the snowmen too. Kat, what a great Christmas pic! You're a beauty.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Yeah, yeah - I know I'm two days late. I know you're not surprised! Our holiday was a whirlwind. We had DH's family of 11 over on the 23rd for a big dinner, then the MIL over for Christmas Eve, then Christmas day with my family at mom's house. With all of the frenzied cleaning and cooking my back gave out. It's feeling much better, but I get very freaked out when I feel a twinge. I thought I had everything under control, but ended up wrapping presents at the last minute. Yesterday I slept in and stayed in my pj's all day. Now that's bliss! In the middle of all this, I got a call from my old boss. I stopped working over 6 years ago when I was preggers with my DS. The woman who replaced me is retiring next month, so guess who they want to come back? I'm going in to talk to her tomorrow. I'm excited, nervous, scared... I wouldn't be considering it but this private school tuition is kicking our butt. Mandy, I hope you feel better soon! My DD had a 24 hour bug last week - hopefully yours is over as quickly. Those jeans sound great. I'd be excited to put on a burlap sack if it was a size 12. Sherry, you're sick too?! I get sour stomach at night really easily when it's my TOM too. Hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy the day off. Rest up! Jules, back away from the fudge! My husband's aunt brought us about 5 lbs of it. I "accidentally" left it all at my mom's house. Cindy, congratulations on your retirement! I wish I could join you all for coffee on New Year's Day. Hmm... we need to do some sort of teleconference. Beanie, you made it to Twoterville!! I'm sure a flu wasn't your preferred way to do it, but something good might as well come out of the suffering. I'm so happy for you - CONGRATULATIONS! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Eilene, sorry that your FIL had to spend Christmas Eve in the hospital. I can see why you aren't enamored of that place. Glad to hear you had a fun Christmas! Any big plans for your week off? Kat, what are you up to today? (((HUGS))) Okay - it sounds like I have to broker a peace treaty in the next room. DD and DS are fighting over a new toy. Darcy, Pat, Mary, Patty, Crispy, and anyone else I've missed - Hope you're enjoying your day.
-
Wow - that's huge. Does anybody know how to resize that? I've never been able to figure it out.
-
Speaking of trees... here's a picture of ours this year. It's a little blurry. Hard to believe Christmas is only one week away!
-
Skinny - oops! - I mean Sherry - you and your DH look wonderful! I love your blouse too, what a beautiful Christmas outfit. And are those ornaments I see on that tree?! Thanks for sharing!
-
Hi All! DH and I are taking the kids to my brother's house so that we can go to a movie for his birthday. We're going to see Casino Royale - I've heard it's really good. Mandy - what a beautiful tree! I like the tall skinny ones. That's a shame about those burglars though. We've had some vandals around here lately, which had me a little worried with putting out the Christmas decorations. Our mailbox got hit with a baseball bat. DH replaced the whole thing afterwards including a new post and what happens? The neighbor across the street backs into it a week later. Cindy, have a great time at the concert! Let me know how you like it - I think they're coming through Michigan this spring. Do you think your Dad might like a small Christmas tree that you can keep decorated from year to year? We made one for my Grandfather and hot glued everything on so that there was very little effort involved (it was only a few feet tall and sat on a table). Kat, I'm sorry that you're still feeling rotten! That bug sure is hanging on tight. Is it possible that it's turned to bronchitis? You may need an antibiotic. It sounds like you and your DH fight like me and Ed - sometimes I wish we were the type to scream and get the tension over with. Stony silences are the worst! (((HUGS))) Dianne, how are you feeling today? I'm sorry that I haven't done personals in a while but I want you to know I've been thinking of you and sending good vibes your way. Did you make it to Curves? They do say exercise helps. It's been so long since I exercised my tennis shoes have grown dusty. Hang in there - and no more apologizing for complaining young lady!! That's what we're here for. Jules, enjoy your semester break! It sounds like you deserve some time to de-stress - 15 hours is quite a course load. How much longer till graduation? Beanie, you're still sick too?! :sick There must be some vicious bugs out there this year. I hope you're feeling better today so that you can enjoy your weekend with the DH. I'm sending SSHV's (super-strong healing vibes) out to your dad - keep us posted when you hear something. Crispy, did you find a new apartment? I'm glad you're getting out of that place - that guy sounds like a nutjob. Sorry that you're going through this though. Seems like he's the one who should have to go to the trouble of moving! Patty, I'm confused... are you supposed to get a letter this week or do you already have it? If you have it and haven't opened it I'm getting on a plane Monday and opening it for you!! That's too bad about the dishwasher. Doing dishes does a number on my back too - something about the height of the counter and bending over just slightly. Hang in there - and make the boys dry. Betty - you made it to the weekend! What are you up to today? I finally got my Christmas cards out in the mail this morning. What a load off - now I just have to wrap 800 presents and bake cookies and I'll be ready for the holiday. Speaking of cookies (skip to next paragraph if you can't handle food porn) I'm going to make thumbprints, buckeyes (chocolate covered peanut balls), and peanut butter cookies with the hersheys kisses in the middle. Oh yeah, and I always make butter toffee. Does anybody have suggestions for another kind? I want to try something new... Pat, Darcy, Eilene, Cassie, Mary - how are you? Any big plans this weekend? We're having the grandparents over tomorrow for DS's Christmas concert at church. Other than that we have a fairly quiet weekend planned. Have a great weekend everyone!
-
Hi everyone! I'm catching up on posts and I'll be back later to do personals. It's DH's birthday today (what is it with these inconsiderate people having birthdays when I'm trying to get ready for Christmas?!). The cake is baked and I have a roast in the crock pot for dinner. We're having his mom and his sister's family over for dinner tonight. TOM is here for a visit and I just wanna take a nap. Hi Cindy - I see you're on here too! I'm blanking on what you get for the 4th day of Christmas... (((HUGS))) for everyone. Time to clean. :grouphug:

Hello all! Kat, how are you feeling today? I had the same experience a while back with the adult Mucinex. The thought of a pill getting stuck was just too scary and I wondered how time-released pills would work in our "double" stomach, lol. Were you able to get your hands on some of the junior? I don't blame you for avoiding Walmart on a Saturday! Beanie (Snotarella), how about you? I hope this cold doesn't ruin your weekend and you feel better soon! Mandy, how is your DD? The only thing worse than being sick is taking care of a sick child or husband, lol. Hopefully everyone is getting it out of the way so that nobody is sick on Christmas! Patty, what a great idea using a potted tree! My tree is real, but it's either not very smelly or I'm just used to it because I'm not noticing a pine scent anymore. I may use that candle idea too. Congrats on the newsletter. I'm no expert, but I'd say that's a big step towards healing from the divorce. :clap2: Jules, thanks for the info about the junior Musinex. I'm going to pick some up next time I'm in a pharmacy so that I'm prepared next time. Pat, it's good to hear from you! You got my butt back into the chat and then disappeared. WTF?! :biggrin1: Darcy, what are you making for everybody? We want pictures. I need to get my sewing machine out - it's been a long time since I tried to sew anything. My bedroom really needs some curtains, but I don't want to think about that till the holidays are over. Dianne, did you have a nice birthday? Cassie, hang in there! Mushies can be very frustrating, especially when your stomach starts to feel normal again. Like Eilene said, just take it slowly. I lived on refried beans - if yours were yucky you might want to experiment with some of the different kinds out there. You can thin them down with pureed salsa and it adds a lot of flavor. Good luck! Mary, Sweethot, Chris, Sherry, Cindy, Betty, Ira, Crispy, what are you folks up to this weekend? (((HUGS))) Gotta roll - we're having a birthday party for my daughter and her cousin at the Castaway Cafe this evening. Time to wrap presents and wash off the ugly. Hope you're all enjoying your Saturday.

:happybday2: :happybday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANNE!! I hope you're out right now painting the town. :happybday: :happybday2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: CONGRATULATIONS PATTY!!! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: I remember getting my letter too... It's such a scary time, but it's worth the ups and downs in the end. ((((HUGS)))) Eilene, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's husband. My heart goes out to you both. I'm sorry that I don't have time for personals for everybody - I'm thinking about you all and hope your holiday season is going well (get those trees up everyone!) DH is arriving home soon from a business trip and I have to scoot. Have a great night everybody!
-
Just stopping in to say hi - will be back to do personals later. Got the tree up and decorated but I have to finish stringing the popcorn and cranberries. Yes, you read that correctly. Yes, I am insane. The scale is starting to move - woo hoo! Oh yeah my 2 cents on the complication thing - after slipping myself I absolutely think that it's caused by being too tight. I didn't know I was too tight at the time, but in hindsight I definitely was. My grand theory on complications: there are 3 possible - erosion, slippage, and port replacement. I've already had 2 of those, so statistically it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to erode. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Love you guys,

Dianne, I can top your most embarrassing moment (I posted this on another thread a long time ago so it may sound familiar)... I was giving birth to my son and his heart rate dropped. I was dressed in one of those lovely hospital gowns that opens up the back. The nurse covered me with a sheet and had me turn over onto my hands and knees to see if it would help increase his heart rate. After a few minutes about 15 doctors and nurses were in the room and a woman was telling me that I was going to have an emergency c-section. Before I could blink I was being wheeled down to the OR, naked butt still to the sky, covered with the sheet. I could see just enough through my tear-stained glasses to realize that I was passing a crowded waiting room when I felt the sheet fly up to my neck. The chatter immediately turned to stunned silence and it felt like it took them about 2 minutes to pull the sheet back over me (though I'm sure it was only a few seconds). It was a drive by mooning (with a substantial amount of sun thrown in too). Mandy, that video is great! My kids are jealous... we we supposed to get snow and ended up with cold rain. Beanie and Betty, don't feel bad about the xmas stuff. We got our tree last weekend and it's been sitting in the stand undecorated ever since. Hopefully we'll get on it this weekend. Will do more personals later - my nephew is over and he's tearing up the place (18 months old and into everything). What are everybody's plans for the weekend?
-
Congrats on your first fill Crispy! I'm afraid to eat anything - I can really tell that this one has kicked in. Mmmmmmmm... time to drag out the protein powder (blech!).
-
Hi all, I made it through my fill with just 2 pokes! I'm so relieved that it's over. I've been bouncing between 235 and 240 for two months now, and while I appreciate the ability to maintain this isn't exactly where I was hoping I'd be 18 months out. Well lemme tell ya - I have restriction aplenty now! I'm sipping on warm milk and I'll be mushy shopping later. Starting to remember what having a band is supposed to feel like. It's exciting and terrifying at the same time, lol. All you Texans, sit tight and wait out the black ice! I hope you warm up soon. Cindy, I'm the same way about buying music - I never want the full CD. When she's a little older you should get her a cheap ipod. You can find the older generations on ebay for a steal. Sorry - I had to give the ipod a plug (DH does work for Apple after all), but I did stay quiet when you were all buying computers! Patty, good to see you! Eilene, hope those antibiotics are kicking in. (((HUGS))) Yikes! I have to leave to pick up my son from school. Talk to you all soon.

Here's a funny forward my friend passed on to me. I typically don't like forwards, but thought this was funny enough to share... Finally a Barbie I can relate to. At long last, here are some NEW Barbie dolls to coincide with her and OUR aging gracefully. These are a bit more realistic... 1. Bifocals Barbie. Comes with her own set of blended-lens fashion frames in six wild colors (half-frames too!), neck chain, and large-print editions of Vogue and Martha Stewart Living. 2. Hot Flash Barbie. Press Barbie's bellybutton and watch her face turn beet red while tiny drops of perspiration appear on her forehead.Comes with handheld fan and tiny tissues. 3.. Facial Hair Barbie. As Barbie's hormone levels shift, see her whiskers grow. Available with teensy tweezers and magnifying mirror. 4. Flabby Arms Barbie. Hide Barbie's droopy triceps with these new,roomier-sleeved gowns. Good news on the tummy front, two-MuMus with tummy-support panels are included. 5. Bunion Barbie. Years of disco dancing in stiletto heels have definitely taken their toll on Barbie's dainty arched feet. Soothe her sores with the pumice stone and plasters, then slip on soft terry mules. 6. No-More-Wrinkles Barbie. Erase those pesky crow's-feet and lip lines with a tube of Skin Sparkle-Spackle, from Barbie's own line of exclusive age-blasting cosmetics. 7. Soccer Mom Barbie. All that experience as a cheerleader is really paying off as Barbie dusts off her old high school megaphone to root for Babs and Ken, Jr.. Comes with minivan in robin-egg blue or white and cooler filled with doughnut holes and fruit punch. 8. Mid-life Crisis Barbie. It's time to ditch Ken. Barbie needs a change, and Alonzo (her personal trainer) is just what the doctor ordered, along with Prozac. They're hopping in her new red Miata and heading for the Napa Valley to open a B&B. Includes a real tape of "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do." 9. Divorced Barbie. Sells for$ 199.99. Comes with Ken's house, Ken's car, and Ken's boat. 10. Recovery Barbie. Too many parties have finally caught up with the ultimate party girl. Now she does Twelve Steps instead of dance steps. Clean and sober, she's going to meetings religiously.. Comes with a little copy of The Big Book and a six-pack of Diet Coke. 11. Post-Menopausal Barbie This Barbie wets her pants when she sneezes, forgets where she puts things, and cries a lot. She is sick and tired of Ken sitting on the couch watching the tube, clicking through the channels.. Comes with Depends and Kleenex. As a bonus this year, the book "Getting In Touch with Your Inner Self" is included.

Hello Ladies! In regards to the bed & breakfast fiasco, I am going to leave a very negative review online, but I want to wait a few months so that she doesn't know it's me (he he! yeah, I'm a wimp). We felt sorry for her. She's a widow in her 60's and she seemed very lonely. Plus, did I mention I'm a wimp? Eilene, how are you feeling? I hope the throat is feeling better. :sick Mandy, glad to hear that your daughter is on the mend. We have Meijers here in Michigan too - I love that place! Beanie, you crack me up. You have a very lucky DH. Betty, here's the recipe for the kitty litter cake! I luv Google... http://www.fabulousfoods.com/recipes/dessert/cakes/kittylittercake.html Cindy, did you get that sleet storm? We've had unusually warm temps up here. We cut down our Christmas tree in 65 degree weather - much nicer than the sub zero trek last year. Kat, Goodwill is a great idea for your castoffs, or you could post a thread on LBT. I've seen a lot of people list free clothes on here. Dianne, how are you? Don't cancel - you'll have a blast! Crispy, you make me long for my single days and be glad that they're over at the same time. Very cool that those guys are chasing after you though! Even if they're duds it's gotta be a nice confidence boost. :bananapartyhat: Darcy, hang in there sweetie! Any progress with the van? (((HUGS))) Sherry, my gosh it sounds like a nightmare at work. I hope it all works out for you! You know it's a bad day when you're counting down to the weekend on Monday morning. I'm married to a computer geek too. My DH is a Mac programmer. I love him to death, but I go cross-eyed when he talks about work. :purplebananna: Patty, Mary, Pat, what are you up to this week? Time for bed - think good thoughts for me tomorrow morning, I have a fill at 11:30 am. I'm nervous, but excited. Right now it's easy to maintain but I can't seem to lose, so I'm hoping to hit my sweet spot tomorrow!! Have a great night everyone. :xena_banana:

Good morning everyone. I'm dragging today... DD is at preschool, so am I using the time wisely and getting out the Christmas decorations? Nope - I'm playing Pogo and catching up on LBT. :bolt: Last weekend I went for a weekend away with my mom, my two sisters, and my sis-in-law. Do any of you like to stay in Bed & Breakfasts? Well, it took us two months to talk my older sister into it, but she finally agreed to stay in one. The pictures of this place online were drop-dead gorgeous. We got there, and let's just say that first impressions weren't great. Rug on the front porch was bunched up and dirty, dirty dog brush on a pile of wood, upside-down fake Christmas tree in the corner amongst dirt, etc.. So we went inside and it was okay. Not nearly as pretty as the pictures, but okay. The innkeeper was a little odd (didn't ask us our names, started gossiping about past guests, etc). The straw that broke the camels back? She has 3 dogs that she keeps locked away and goats out back. Now, we all have pets and love our animals dearly. But, the next morning we came down to a very mediocre breakfast and everything was covered in hair!!!! The tablecloth was covered in hundreds of hairs, and all of the food had hair throughout. Even the coffee cream had a huge goat whisker floating in it. Ewwwwwwwww! My sister is never going to let us live this one down. We were there two nights and she didn't even make our beds. Plus, for some strange reason she turned off our toilet! We came home late one night and my twin sister used the bathroom (really used, if you catch my drift) and it wouldn't flush. She had shut off the water to our toilet! WTF?! Still, we had a great weekend away from the hubby's and the kids and I got most of my Christmas shopping done. Plus, we have much funnier stories to reminisce about than if it was the nice B&B we were expecting. Happy Monday All!

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry that I've been MIA. It had been so long that I didn't think I'd ever catch up, but I'm all read up and ready to go! You know you've been gone too long when Pat leaves you a message... First, Kat I am so sorry about dropping the ball with the Christmas card list. Thank you for picking up the task, and I'll try not to be such a slacker in the future. If it's not too late, I'll PM you my address tonight. I only received 2 or 3, but I'll forward them to you in case you need them. Cindy, Happy Belated Birthday!! Down to 19 days, eh? Yippee!!! Beanie, you broke into the 200's!!! Congrats!!!!!! :clap2: :clap2: Eilene, I hope you're feeling better. Being sick on the holidays stinks. :bolt: Mandi, your daughter is a beauty! My son just lost his first tooth a few weeks ago. I wasn't sad about it until I read your post, lol. I only gave him a buck - your toothfairy is much more generous than ours is. Pat, did you ever get the tree? We cut ours down this afternoon. It's up in the stand, but that's as far as it's going tonight. I spent a beautiful 60 degree day inside being lazy instead of putting up the lights outside, so I'll probably be out in sleet tomorrow getting it done. Thanks for the call btw, I appreciate the kick in the pants! :Banane44: Sherry, I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't done Christmas shopping! I thought we were doing well getting the tree today until I read up on everyone else. Cassie, congrats on your surgery and on your first Christmas tree! Hope your recovery is going well. Betty, that menu is hilarious! Your party sounds like a lot of fun. :Banane44: Dianne - have fun in Cancun!! Patty, how are you doing? (((HUGS))) Mary, Darcy, and everyone else I missed, how are you? (((HUGS))) It's time to clean up the kitchen. My sister and her family were staying with us the last 5 days and the house is a trainwreck. Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
-
Hi everyone! Sorry about dropping off the face of the earth. I've had family in town and DH has been out of town almost non-stop so things have been a little hectic around here. Betty, that's terrible news about your brother. What a horrible thing to go through. Is he feeling okay now? Beanie, how is your neck feeling? Congratulations on your weight loss! That's quite a big drop - hang in there and you'll be in the 200's in no time. Eilene, how are you? I hope the doctor was able to help you yesterday. What kind of testing did they do? Hope they have you on lots of good drugs! Dianne, congrats on the weight loss! I wish I had your dedication to exercise. I'm joining a gym tomorrow morning (seriously!). We were sent a really good deal for our local gym, so DH and I are signing up. Cindy, I hope we get to see some before and after pics of your new floor! I cracked up when you said they wanted you to pay extra for pre-scuffed floors. Hang in there - the chaos will be worth it. Patty, (((HUGS))). Hang in there - we'll be here when you want to talk. Kat, glad I'm not the only one spending half of my day potty-training! I've offered my DD everything short of a unicorn if she'd just poop in the potty. I'm ready to be done with diapers!! Darcy, I'm jealous! I love snow and was disappointed when we just got a little freezing rain. I was watching Oprah the other day and they were talking to a woman who lives 30 miles north of the Arctic Circle. It dips to 100 below on a regular basis up there... can you imagine? Mandy, how's it going? Chris, I don't envy you the liquids but I'll bet the weight loss is nice right now! :girl_hug: Sherry, you look amazing! Congrats on your continued success. Pat, where are you? Guess I'm not the only one who disappeared... Time to put the kids to bed. I somehow got suckered into planning the Halloween Party for my DS's classroom. They decided to move him to 1st grade permanently because he was bored. We're trying to catch up on everything he's missed. Have a great night all!
-
Hi Everyone! Cindy, you're not a dork, you're just well prepared. I have to catch up on the Sep thread and then I'll catch up with personals. How is everyone doing? I hope all is well in bandland. I'm finally seeing the scale move again - woo hoo! Love you guys,
