2 weeks for me

Hello all, I am doing really well! Most of the pain has subsided and healing just great ! Like most of you, I am struggling to get all the protein in. The shakes are just barf. Looking forward to the purée stage. I will see the Nut on the 21st so she may allow purée foods. I will be seeing the surgeon on Weds. I have lost 21 lbs. but the last couple of days it slowed down. I am not worried and continue to do what I got to do. I hope every one is well! I now can't wait till Spring! I have been so cold lately I can't stand it. Stay in touch everyone ????❤️????

I thought laser will do a better job permanently destroying hair. It's so annoying to have to shave.

I am getting hungry for real food and still on clear liquids /shakes stage. Next week full liquids so I can have creamed soup strained. I hope it helps a little. It's hard smelling the family dinner and not have anything. I am just going to stick with it. So far lost 17 pounds since the 30th.

If you get sick you must call them to postpone. They will not do surgery on a sick person. I work in the OR and cancellations happen all the time.

I am 50 and 9 days out after sleeve surgery. On the mend and less pain!

Sounds like we are on the same page with the large incision. I am just going slow and easy.

5 days out I am feeling much better. Each day I feel a tad better. The large incision feels like a I have a peach rolling around in there. Sore but better. I hope the rest of you are feeling a little better. The shakes are challenging. The pureed stage will be here before you know it some of you sooner than me. One of the first things I want to make it the ricotta bake So in the mean time take it easy and heal. Happy Sunday!!

I loved my homemade in the pot, shaking the pot while popcorn popping and added some melted butter. Just fresh! Now popcorn is probably the last thing you can after fully healed. Right?

Can't wait to get a good full nights sleep. Large incision hurts the most. The shakes...ughh! No bowels yet ;( I am going to take colace tonight to see that gets anything moving. Other than that small improvements each day. We got this!

Shakes make me gag but I force to drink it. Broth is tasteless and I wondering how I am going to do this for 2 weeks until I can have strained creamy soups. This is tough.

I am 3 days out and I am doing well. Sip slowly and go easy with everything.

Holy batman crap am I in pain!!!! My whole abdominal area is wow wow. I hope I feel better soon. Just wanted u to know I survived! Heavy on drugs so later for now.....
