Never in my life did I think I would share this!
bellabill replied to Elode's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am in awe of your progress and I am no where near where you are even at 9 months. I need to be more disciplined with myself. Keep it going! You be Should be proud ???? -
The whole thing takes time. When I first found that my ex had feelings toward men, it was an ongoing process to work things out. Not an overnight thing. Yes, it was a grieving process, little by little you feel better later. Take your time finding your way and eventually things will fall into place. There was no facebook or Bariatric pal to find support back then so you are lucky to be able to reach out to find people who have been through this. Remember, this is not your fault!! Keep your head up high ????

Hi, I have been through this finding out my ex - husband was gay. It's a long story how this unfolded. I found out 3 months after we got married but continued our life and had 2 kids. I did love him and I was very young at the time. As the years went by, I slowly started not to like him on so many levels. I fell out of love and found someone else who I was really attracted to and we have been happily married. It does not change. Let go of this person and just be a good friend to her. Well, I am not friends with my ex so maybe that is not good advice. There were many other things that I did not like about him. Lots of dysfunction in his family so your situation maybe different. When I found out the first time, I felt like I lost something, the trust mostly. It was the hardest time in my life. I could not tell anyone cause I just had gotten married. He reeled me in to cover his tracks to make everything "wonderful" for him. There is so much more to say but I hope you find your way to accept the truth. This is the worst thing anyone has to go through. In time, it will get easier for you. Life does go on.

Wow, I feel so bad for this horrible ordeal you and your wife have to go through. I would be mad as hell about this missed opportunity of treatments that should have gotten in the first place. Praying for you and wife! ????

laproscopic or robotic help me choose please!
bellabill replied to wlsmotov8ed's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Most all gastric surgeries are done laparoscopically. Robotic is also laparoscopic but the only difference the surgeon works with computer with robotic attachments using lap instruments. I hope this helps. I am an senior instrument tech with 30 years of experience and seen how this works in the OR. -

They will make sure you take your pill on the morning of surgery or the night before for precaution. I was fine in surgery and after. -

I was the one said that when I sneezed I pee. Well, things are so much better now. I guess the weight off my bladder makes a difference. I don't get up as much either through the night. ???? bellabill replied to CowgirlJane's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My husband is the one that gets noticed all the time. He is very good looking and nice body build 6 ft tall. Now, I can't wait to have that moment Cowgirl Jane had. I am not jealous of him at all but it's always the girls that I don't trust. We are 50 years old and I do feel blessed to have him not for his looks but great funny personality. Sometimes I wonder why he likes me...... -
I just wish they weren't pricey!
