You are making the right step to a healthier you! My step daughter lives in Norway in Kristiansund ! I bet you know where that is since it's on the western coast. I have not been there but will like to do some day. My husband has been there many years ago visiting his daughter. I have not had the surgery yet but will soon. Trying to decide a gastric bypass or the sleeve. Good luck on your journey! Lisa

Aside from all the stuff we have to deal with the moods have been up and down. I feel I am arguing with my husband more than usual lately. Good thing my mother lives in FL cause I would have strangled her by now! It's tough and lets focus on ourselves. It'll be months later during pre and post surgery that things will balance out. Hang in there. Lisa

Maybe small posters for bariatric centers to expose the great outlet we have here. I went to school for computer aided design but it was short lived... I would have made one for you and I don't even have the programs. Someday, I should re-invent that. -

I have heard this believe it or not.... Try not to eat from a stainless steel utensil for a plastic one. Someone I know had surgery on his bladder and noticed food tasted different. His wife gave him plastic and noticed the difference. I am not there yet but it's worth a try? Let me if it works? -

Well I used to live in Boston area all around... Brighton, South End, Somerville, Medford and Malden before I moved to a town near Worcester. Somewhat close... I have not been sleeved yet and hoping to hear a date either Nov or Dec. at Umass Memorial. Glad to see local people here! -

I think a head start before surgery is a great idea. I am going to buy some today. Also, not sure but I heard B12 vitamin works well with biotin... Any chemist out there?

Hi, I started in July 7th also! I still have 2 life skills classes then I'll meet with the surgeon probably early Nov... who knows if he wants to do those test prior surgery ? It varies person to person. Good luck and I bet you will get a date before me ???? -

Every time I look at this site on the phone it freezes and unable to continue to use it. I don't think it's the phone cause I'll jump to Facebook and it's fine. Also the screen moves as I am reading a post and then somehow it magnifies what I am reading? The web is so much easier... Have a great day.

No wonder so many of us gain weight because of going out to eat. We are better off cooking our own meals but then again who wants to cook every night. Many places now offer the "lite side" menu. -

I just don't like her...never did and never will. I don't even know why the heck they hired her back? Ughh and for the rest of them...ugghh! The took the table away..ugghh. The View is doomed unless they do something about it. So for her say something so inadequate, insensitive she should keep her mouth shut. I hope the higher ups had a talk with her. I just hope she leaves.......
