I had to call BMI today and ask them what next? They said nothing til the meeting..no appointments, no doctor, etc...so we just ride it out. They did tell me that I start liquid Protein thingy on 9/23..until my surgery date...ack! Unbelievable!..*whoo*whoo* I can do this!!..I hope... *hugs* cya then!!

Yeah.....non supportive boyfriend...he doesn't like the whole surgery idea..we've only been together since feb. but i explained to him this is for me...In the past, I was never able to live for me..this is a new life..ive made so many changes in my life. If I don't take care of me who will? It'll all work out. I told my b/f you might not always be around, but unless I do something, my fat will be.

Thanks I'll stay in touch and we'll see how it goes. I havn't gotten a call for my lab work though. My pre-op class in 9/22 and surgery 10/7..when am I supposed to get a call for that i wonder?

well, after getting cold feet back in 2/08 when i was supposed to have the surgery, i started the process again. I called bmi surgery and explained to them the details as to what scared me etc. The coordinator was understanding, and said lets get you in for a mini-consult with the doctor. My biggest fear in doing this again was that i would have to be evaluated again. But, i had my consult 8/27 and i don't have to!! Within 24 hours, i received the call from the cordinator and we scheduled everything from the pre-op classes to the surgery. I have no ones support. My daughters are 10 & 12 and they are worried..they of course dont see the big picture. The other part is my parents..they have not responded to my emails..so that to me indicates they aren't willing to even discuss it. Last of all my b/f. We met in feb when i was as fat as i am now and he definitly doesn't want me going through it. But i explained to him, you may come and go in my life but my fat (unless i do something) will always be with me. I'm a bit nervous of the port and how protruding it is. Other than that, i am going to do it. I've told a few girls at work because i dont want to look stupid if i back out again, that way i have a better change of going throught it. good plan eh?

Is a personal trainer expensive? where do you find them?

Wait im confused. Did you have your surgery already?? How long ago? It sounds like youre eating healthy..i'll find out more when i do mine. I know absolutly nothing about this..*sigh*

I am nervous about the excersise part. I dont do it at all (which i bet is a contributing factor to my being fat). How do you log your food? Do you do it at the realize my success site?
