What to expect postop day 6
Lateese92 replied to Lateese92's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes, JerzyTomato74 I was very well prepared, I read lots of posts on this web sight, looked at utube videos, looked up recipes and food suggestion for the upcoming plans and went to the support group that my doc offers. Everything I read prepared me for the many possible outcomes that could happen but nothing could really prepare me for my own person experience. I too like every1 else feel a lil head hunger but a few sips of my Protein and I'm too full to think of eating anything else. I Can't think of anything I wished I had. I wore my outfit to the hospital that I was planning on going home in. Loose fitting stretch pants and a nice long roomy shirt and flip flops. I took some gas X strips as suggested but did not need until the next day home. Took my toothbrush, deodorant, iPad (didn't use), chapstick, robe/slippers...that's it, needed nothing else. -

Absolutely _2juicy_ I've been reading the first couple of weeks are the hardest. I'm guessing this will be the best time to have each other support. Thanks, I look forward to chatting with you all.. good luck and congrats to u ladies.

I no what u mean Melissayw816 I feel exactly the same way. I'm scheduled for the same day. I have been reading up on lots of blogs to try to help with my nervousness. I found the world according to egg face to be extremely helpful with great recipes and advice. I've been looking for a support buddy, seeing that our surgrey is on the same day I'd like to stay in contact and add u as a friend if that's ok with u.

Thank you so much willow13 for sharing your experience. I am scheduled for surgery on October 1st and I am excited, scared and all the other emotions that go along with pre op. Congratulations on ur success and continue 2 encourage others. -
Good luck JenW~79 , I'm feeling the same way. Finally did all pre op appointments and as I get closer to the 1st the reality is really setting in. How long is your hospital stay post op?

Just got my date 2 days ago. October 1st.. very nervous, seems everyone is more excited than me. Want to make sure I'm making the right decision but I've been wanting it for so long, now I'm not sure if it's the right thing. I'm so over thinking this.
