I have not posted here in years! I got my lap-band March 08 and I have lost only like 60 lbs. I have figured out what foods I can eat and I'm really bad about those liquid calories. I want to lose more but I don't think that I need a fill because I'm still tight in the mornings and usually tight until the evening. But of course Cookies, chips do not get stuck:( I really need some support and suggestions for getting back on track. Plz help me!!!!

Hi..my name is Tracey and I am trying to get the Lap band. I am waiting on one more thing to get insurance approval and I hope it is approved quickly. I am so excited about this life changing event. I know I can do this and this is something I really want. I hope to make some new friends and I am always looking for advice and learning from other's experiences. I have been in NN since 91...my 16 yr old daughter attends Denbigh High and next year my 13 yr old will be going. They grow up so fast!

I went to Surry High...that's where I grew up at.

I am going to be seeing Dr Terracina in Newport News. They are submitting my case to my insurance today so I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. I hope that I hear something back soon.

I am also from Va in the hampton rds are looking for some "band" friends!!! This is a great board! Hope to meet someone soon:)
