I was banded on 8.13.14 and chose this surgery because my insurance gave me no other options. I've had my ups and downs and would love to learn from everyone else, as well as use my knowledge to help others.
My reason for WLS was that I was becoming extremely unhealthy and at only the age of 28 and my mother passed away at 59 from being unhealthy.
