Hi. Nothing set in stone. But I have bought protein powder and have been working on different ideas. I am very fortunate that my good friend and her husband have both had the surgery. So they will be helping me out a lot. How about you? -

Thank you for this advice. I do not like coffee but love my diet sodas and sugar free Rockstars.... Well after reading this post last week I thought this is it. So I quit all caffeine... 7 days free now. Thank you. Surgery date Oct. 7th. -

I have Oct 7th surgery date. I am not scared at all... Just frickin' excited!! I am trying to take off 6-8 weeks. Even if I take vacation on top of medical. Just want to relax and get in a good routine. -

I wonder sometimes if I will be successful but then think .....look at all these people that have been. I just have never been thin so I think I just can't imagine what I will look like. -

I know exactly how you feel about having the date. Last November I found out insurance requirements were changing... Submitted paperwork Jan. 1st..... Surgery date Oct. 7th. I have tons of support and everyone from work to church to friends have been 100% supportive. -

Thank you Ginger Snaps. Your post is very helpful. I actually stopped drinking diet soda and rockstars 7 days ago. I have been caffeine free for 7 whole days. Never thought I could accomplish that. Looking forward to being post-op. -

It's so exciting to get a surgery date but when it was over a month the wait was killing me. However feel blessed that I have the coverage and that it was approved. Can't wait to hear your date!!!! -

That's exactly how I felt about a month ago!!! I am just about a week out from my 30 day countdown. I have just been focusing on all the positives in my life......and remembering all the experiences the overweight me, that I am right now, is going to help shape me into the more beautiful, healthy me I am about to become. I always want to be who I am... Just a smaller version. -
