Does Gas X not work? That helped with all my trapped gas. Chewable.

I am so sorry sweetie. That does not sound good I am 17 days out. No pain. No meds. I have one incision site that the glue fell off too early. You can see some sutures from the inside but it's not infected and nurse said it's healing. The rest look great. Look like little scar scratches. I have not felt any abdominal pain. I am on puréed. So happy to be able to eat. A whole new round of energy. Going to the gym. I am praying for you and so sorry about your pain.

After the surgery I was allowed SF pudding during liquid diet.

Way to go!!! You look awesome. -
Today I start 3 weeks of puréed foods. Went to 2 week post op appointment today. They said I need to eat more. Puréed has no requirements except the obvious. I do have a low grade fever. But other than that seems to be going well. Started at the gym a couple days ago. Can now lift up to 25 pounds.
-
How tall are you? We are pretty much the same. I started at 265. Day of surgery: 247. Today- two weeks post op- 237. I am doing good except for a low grade fever. 3 weeks of puréed now.

Sorry Bronxmerci... I have my 2 week post op tomorrow and have had no pain since about day 4. I am so sorry.

I have lost a pound per day since surgery. I can hardly keep protein down though. But I am able to drink my water.

Best wishes!!!! I am 13 days out. It's awesome to be on the other side finally. Especially after such a long journey. All the best. You're going to do great. -
Good luck to everyone going in today. May blessings pour down on you. May our prayers be lifted up to protect you.
-
Great job. Since I cannot get protein shakes down I am losing a pound a day. I have not really had a change in bowel habits until a protein powder and my tummy did not get along.
-
So the first 7 days was pretty normal. I was able to eat everything I had on 2 week pre-op. Exactly 7 days out... BOOM. Can't stand the protein shakes. One kind ran right thru me. Everything changed. Anyone else?

Best of luck. Remember just short breaths and pray through the gas pain if it gets stuck somewhere you feel you can't breath. It will move. -
1 week post op. Everything healing!!!
-
Not going to happen. You're on your way.
-
You go girl!!!!

That's exactly how I felt... Cheating wasn't an option or I would be done. Bad food didn't tempt me, it was things like baked chicken or turkey burgers. But you are doing great. Now I look forward to banana baby food and Popsicles. It is all worth it!!!!

Beni... That's pretty much what my daughter said when she visited me in the hospital. Thanks.
-
The hospital put another gown on me like a robe. So I was always covered. Front and back. And gave me a sexy pair of these nylon underwear boxer throw away things. ????

One thing that is a total negative. One incision is where my bra line sits and another is where the top of my jeans sit. There is glue over the incisions but on first outing I learned to put bandages over them.
