I weighed 284 when I had my EGD done , weighed 269 when I had surgery , lost that from being on pre-op diet -

They want you to lose some before surgery but the main reason for the liquids is to shrink your liver down some and it will be better for the doc to see , I only had to do 7 days but really only done 4 . -

Wonder just how long it takes the stomach to heal up , I haven't had any good yet , just liquids and jello or broth , but I'm in no hurry tho -

You only eating this before surgery so your stomach will shrink some and the liver also , if you can go all day without food then that's what I would do , I ate the soup in morning and ate it again at night but drink alit of water to keep you full -
How do you know what your weight should be , I am 6'0 and I weighed 284 , so should I say bout 200 ?

It's hard bc I had mine done Tuesday and I have had nothing but water and jello , but it will get better -
It only cost me my deductible , 1800, which I had done met most of it before my surgery

Well I can't have shakes till I go back for visit , and I seen on the web site where they are tell others not to do protein until after two weeks visit
