    My A1c in March was 9.2 Today it is 6.1 almost one month after surgery! 27 lbs lost since surgery, and 48 lbs lost since I started the program. No more diabetes meds or insulins. My lipitor and HBP meds were reduced too. WOW!

      Congratulations! That is so amazing! They took me off my med (4 Metformin a day) before I left the hospital but I worry that once I finally start food it might go up! I haven't started back my Lipitor or Enalapril either (personal choice). Hope I don't regret that! Sorry to hijack your post. Just wanted to say that you were an inspiration and I so hope I can follow behind you. My A1C won't be taken until late August.
