For as long as I can remember I was bigger than the other girls. I was the one that got made fun of and had gum put in her hair at school. In my early twenties I hired a trainer an date like I was supposed to but the weight never came off. I barely ate and yet I continued to gain weight. Two kids later I weighed 375 pounds and found myself having trouble doing things with them. I hated myself and became depressed and started eating sweets. Finally I realized one day there was hope and i need to live not for me, but for my kids! I went in for my preop and not even a month later, I was having my surgery. The first couple months were HELL!! But after a while things settled down and the pounds melted away. I soon had a baby girl and lost more weight after her birth. Then the fun began!! I now have Fibromyalgia, am Hypoglycemic, Vitamin D deficent, and Protein Deficent. I have gained 30 pounds back due to medication. I am now trying to come off the meds and lose the 30 pounds I gained and more! I thought this surgery was my answer, but it made matters worse for me. I have heard A LOT of others say the same thing!
