I'm on day 6... it still sucks honestly I'm not gonna sugar coat it it sucks so bad I want pizza and bread and popcorn and chips. That doesn't go away just stay strong it'll be worth it <3

Did anyone find out tou had it right before surgery? I had a sleep study and I'm afraid I'd need a machine but I feel like it would push my surgery back idk. I'm in the last two weeks before surgery and I just want my last two approvals already!

I don't really have anything bad at my house but I'm a baker and work at a bakery so from time to time I want that chocolate chip cookie

I'm on day 5 too I want all the junk and cookies in the world ugh I haven't cheated once and I'm sooooo suprised I could do it!

Tomorrow is my last day of work I return November 14 and I'm excited to be stress free! I have zero clue on what to pack. Where do I even start. I'm not sure how I feel yet.

Today is day one of my pre op diet.. My boyfriend had a chicken cheese steak and it took every part of my to not even have a bite so basically day one is a success. On saturday (day 3) we might go see a movie and I looooveeee popcorn. I want it so bad but I heard after day 3 it'll be easier. To cheat or not to cheat is the question!!??!!!

I mean I'm a baker and I made special halloween Cookies today and was suprised that I didn't eat a thing at work today! Day one successful but ugh I'm scared it'll be harder! The fear gets the best of me sometimes!

One week. I can have and did have Tomato juice Jello Plain oatmeal Plain yogurt 4 protein drinks Chicken 3oz. Small salad 3oz egg whites Tea.

I guess I just feel like a doctor could change their mind and be like just kidding your not cleared so I'm not excited just yet.

My surgery is next thursday the 30!! Today I got my last okays from the doctors!!!!! It hasn't hit me yet! When did you finally realize this is really happening? Also my liquid diet is tomorrow....any suggestions/advice?

I'm starting my liquid diet tomorrow and I bought jello protein protein protein flavor packs for water and simple liquid diet requirements.and what you can do now before surgery? I asked myself the same thing back in august. Right now enjoy eating out eating whatever you want but at the same time don't over do it or gain weight. Just enjoy your time with food. Lol. By the time you know it it'll be one week before surgery. Like me!

Yeah I get looks too haha. I dint eat fish really just never been a fan. I ate chicken but slowed it down since it's the animal that Is treated a bit harsher then the others I hope to also get use to this diet and become vegan.

Haha I'm lactose intolerant too) I can't look at meat I've eaten meat on and off for 2 years and fully commited to eating none at all for 2 months. I don't eat fish or eggs so It's something I have to reintroduce into my diet

I think kinda you can be. I'm looking into being vegan now that I'm vegetarian but I asked my NUT and she said I need to at least squeeze in eggs fish and milk.

Yeah one of the nurses from the hospital said they will just give me a machine and I'd need it at the hospital so it shouldn't interfere with my surgery. I'm just getting impatient my surgery date came so fast! The 30 ahh! Pre-op diet soon ah!

I hope I can too. I'm scared of possibley starving or having head aches or mood swings and also I work at a bakery for I'm sure it'll be twice as hard

When I went I had my mind set on lap band but with further information and talking I chose the sleeve. Ask any questions that come to mind to question is stupid trust me! I'm young so for my follow up appointment I'll be asking about how this will effect future pregnancy etc. He told me before surgery he will meet with me again and until then write down questions that pop up throughout the time. Hope this was helpful!

Opposites attract right? I'm 23 and have no children but an amazing boyfriend of 5 and 1/2 years(ring any day now ) I live in south jersey I'm sleeved October 30. My boyfriend and I share a love of food and I'm afraid our relationship is based on us sitting/laying around watching movies and eating junk. He's super supportive in everything I do so this is no different. only a few people know all are supportive except one but I told her to pipe down and pretend to support me (haha) Hope I'm a match! Hehe

I read on another form to just drink as much protein as you can. From what I've been reading lack of protein is why people are loosing hair
