I am 5 weeks out of surgery and doing good. Getting protein and fluids in. But I am starting to crave vegetables. I'm so sick of meat, eggs and cheese. Anybody have any suggestions of something different?

I go for a follow up on Monday. I sure hope they tell me I can have veggies. It is strange how so many people's diets are so different after surgery. I'm five weeks out of surgery and I've lost 39lbs. My starting weight was 255 and I'm down to 216.

I'm having such a hard time getting 64 ounces of fluid everyday. I'm 17 days out of surgery and getting fluids was the last thing I was worried about. I thought about getting a diet lemonade from chick fil a tomorrow. Not sure how that will settle on my stomach. Anybody have any suggestions? :-)

I'm 2 weeks out of surgery and I feel great. Except a sharp pain in my lower chest. I had a sleeve procedure. Has anybody else experienced this?

The pain is gone today. Feel so much better.

I talked to my dr today and he told me to slow down and get some rest. He said to go back to full liquids and make sure I get 64 oz of fluids. He said the pain is probably just gas.

Work/Sleeve Balance

I went to work for a few hours 4 days after surgery. I've gone to the office everyday for a few hours each day. But I'm so tired when I get home. Today makes 2 weeks out of surgery. -
Good luck!! I had my sleeve done this past Thursday and I feel really good. The gas has been the worse part. And it's not terrible. Be sure to get up and take small walks. I actually feel so good I'm going to go to work for a few hours tomorrow. :-).

How long after surgery did you have to wait until you could have sex?

I had surgery on August 21 and got home today. Somehow I've gained 6lbs? Is this normal right after surgery?
