Hiya! I'm Evie. Currently on day 9 post-op VSG (sleeve) and finally getting around to introducing myself. That tells you I'm a habitual procrastinator who eventually gets around to getting things done.
 
I found BariatricPal while I was researching bariatric surgeries, and I found the information posted here by members to be very useful in helping me choose a surgeon.
 
I had my surgery in Tijuana, Mexico, at the Obesity Control Center (Dr. Ariel Ortiz). I was very happy with the experience there, and would recommend them for this procedure.
 
I'm using the remainder of my time off work to get some knitting done, along with healing and learning how to live with my new stomach. So far I'd say it's going very well. I'm getting enough fluids and protein, and not having any issues to speak of. 
 
Thank you for being here. You made my journey a little bit easier, and I know I'm not the only one.
