I had the sleeve done 8/13/14 and have been so excited to start my new journey. I have struggled my whole life with weight and it just was getting worse. As my husband and I were wanting to have a baby the conversation of issues being able to conceive due to my weight were being discussed. Not ready yet to hear about WLS we tried medication it didn't work. I still was continuing to struggle and just really started to get concerned at the role I could/would be able to play in my life/family so I took the leap and am so happy I did. I had complications after and ended up out a bit longer than expected. But I am doing great now just learning and exploring each stage after the surgery. I am 18 days grateful! I am blessed to be on a better path and to have the tool to help me live my life fully with my husband.
