Hi ya Pat..... No matter what time I go to bed, I wake up at 5 or 6 am. I'm so used to it that I don't even need an alarm clock. POOF! I'm up. And with my nasty allergies I'm coughing so hard (didn't want to wake DD). I sware folks, I'm coughing so hard (yes I'm taking meds) that it feels like my band is gonna come out of my nose. Interesting way to get nose jewerely. Oh well I gotta get my ass back up to do some more cleaning and I start cooking in about 1 hour. TTYL !!! I can not do the 4th of July, DH's birthday is on the 3rd (he turns 50....and yes I'm having a party for him on May 20th....anyone wanna come?) we're also having a party for him then. But don't let me stop you because its hard for me to get away period....

I don't think anyone can give you a list of foods to stay away from. You need to make note of what can go down and what doesn't. For instance, if bread gives you a hard time, stay away. If your throwing up at every meal you really need to talk to your doctor. That doesn't sound good. It also sounds like you are not chewing your food well. Make sure you take small bites and chew the crap out of it. GO SLOW!!! Eat Protein first, then veggie then carb if you really want it. After you throw up, you should really be careful what your next meal is. Try to go lightly and drink fluids because your most likely irritating your esophagus. So remember puke = liquids for at least a day. Oh one last thing Turbo, your NOT stupid..... your learning. This is a whole new world to us eating this way. Hugs to you and don't worry, you'll get the hang of it.

There's a place called DSW Warehouse that has big sizes. A co-worker (man) has HUGE feet, size 16 and he can get shoes there. http://www.dswshoe.com/ I'm 5'10" and have smaller feet 7.5 but WIDE. If I can't get a shoe in my width I go to the next size up 8, and get that. It sucks but watcha gonna do.

If your bra size went from a 44 DD to a 38 Long......you could be a bandster. When getting "stuck" you have that deer in the headlight look.....you could be a bandster. When your spouse won't stop chasing you around the house ....... oh sorry...never mind.

I loved the restriction I had when I was first banded. I would eat a few bites of chicken and poof...full. Then the swelling went down and I was eating just like before being banded. Just go slow, concentrate on what your band is telling you and you'll be fine. Yes this is normal.
