Heather, do you like tarter sauce? its a mixture of mayonnaise and relish. You can add a dab on your fish. Thats how I started liking fish, now I love it plain.

Sarah my doc had me on clear liquid for two weeks, broth, crystal light, same as you. They do make a clear protein drink called IsoPure. You might want to buy a bottle just to try. Its got alot of protein and you can usually pick it up at places like GNC.

Tilapia, flounder, orange roughy, sword, halibit and tuna steaks are wonderful, just wonderful. You can cook them on the grill with some seasoning (and aluminum foil if the fish is like flounder) or in the oven. Cook in oven on high temperature. DH sprinkles either old bay or a fish seasoning and thats it.

Leener, good luck with it and remember to give it some time. Out of the few antidepressants I have tried, the only one I couldn't take was Zoloft... I had really bad thoughts running thru my mind with that drug. So remember, if you don't feel right on it, call your doctor immediatly. Oh....btw!! Can you swallow the pill with no problem? I can't remember how big/small it was (prozac that is).

I was on Prozac years ago, LOVED IT!! One thing for sure is it didn't make me gain weight, quite the opposite, I lost. My Mom and Sister are both on it and they have lost weight. I don't think you'll have a problem.

Not a strange place but the other day I went out for dinner with a gastric bypass friend. It was a little bar & grill and we were the only ones there (until 8 pm when the local's came in) so the cook/owner came out to see if everything was okay. We said the food was yummy, which it was but there was so much left on our plates that the cook kinda went "eh" So we both explained that we had stomach surgery and couldn't eat it all....she was like ohhhhhhhhhhhh and you saw a sign of relief in her face LOL, guess she felt we didn't like the food. It make me feel awkward but people have been pretty good about it. I don't tell anyone about my surgery but in a case like that, I felt bad and had to tell the cook LOL.

I can eat anything, I mean anything as long as I chew. I'm at 1.75 fill in my 4 cc band.

Amy, I just found the best Asian Sesame Ginger dressing. SevenSeas makes it. Its sweet and has that sesame flavor YUMMM! I also dip my chicken in it. Its premade (not in the packets). I make an asian salad with sliced almonds, m-oranges, chicken and you know those oriental noodles (crunchy) I crush them on top for crunch.. MMMMMMMM!!!

Jessie, I had a straight face reading this until you mentioned the *F-in Crickets*, I lost it then (good thing my boss isn't here b/c I burst out laughing). Your right, it is a very scary thing. God only know's what else the person taking that stuff could be capable of in their sleep. Glad its over.

Does anyone know where I can buy (or what brand) some sesame salad dressing (asian style)? I like the sesame taste w/the sweet/tart flavor. I tried Paul Newmans light sesame ginger and gagged, blech that stuff is nasty. OR does anyone have a recipe. Thanks

Some folks sware this one taste like the one served in Japanese restaurants... Annie's Ginger Dressing (I've never tried it).

Fills are only necessary if you feel you need them or if you are not losing weight, no one can force you to have one. I didn't feel I needed one until I was about 3 months out..then I was back to eating just like before banding. Even at 3 months I was losing weight but on my own, so my doctor refused to give me a fill until stopped losing or started gaining. It was very depressing waiting that long. So enjoy the restriction you have now while it lasts Hugs !!!

Good luck Cheri, you know you have my prayers. I don't know anything about the procedure so I'm not sure if you should get an unfill. The doctor should be able to give you medicine for the nausea...make sure you ask. HUGS
