I was a nervous wreck before surgery, ate everything in site and lost 1 lb... my nerves were working over time I guess. I thought I had gained for sure. So my dear........your not alone. You will be able to eat, don't worry (thats easy for me to say NOW lol)

My doc says nothing about portions, but what he does stress every time I'm there is to eat low carb... almost atkins like. Protein and veggies and he keeps yelling ooops I mean telling me that I need to Exercise!!! So basically he's not saying anything i don't know... I just have to do what he says lol. As far as weight loss, they expect 1 - 2 lbs a week. They do not expect patients to lose like a gastric bypass patient. Slow and steady. I had 0 restriction before my fills, and i could eat a hero sandwich with no problem. When I told my doc, he didn't flinch, he said just to keep up doing what i was doing... I was confused. Portions really depend on your restriction IMHO... one size does not fit all, some can eat 1/2 cup, some can eat 1 1/2 cups... some more. So pay attention to your tummy and go from there. Hope this helps.

Yesterday I ran to kohls at lunch time to get a birthday present for a friend and I always pass the jewelry counter... well I was standing there looking at some earrings for my friend and I looked down and there was this beautiful white gold ring, with a big ass pink sparkly heart stone, with two clear heart stones on the side WTF... like the freakin thing was calling my name......I asked how much.. on sale from 199.00 to get this chit.....$59.00.......so then I said oh poop, what size is it.. so I tried it on and lo and f**kin behold, it fit...... guess what I'm wearing today LOLOL!!!! Folks, I never buy myself jewelry but I could not pass that up. My DD who's 4 noticed it but DH didn't and the stone is pretty dang big LOL..men. Now I need earrings and a necklace to match ROFLMFFFFFAO. I'll try to take a picture (if I don't forget duh). Sherry, ex-dh is wacko LOL, I hate the stress of getting a car lol.
