FUNNY JOKES (Don't look if you don't know how to laugh)
NJChick replied to NJChick's topic in The Lounge
Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson go on a camping trip. After a good dinner and a bottle of wine, they retire to their tent for the night, and go to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes wakes up and nudges his faithful friend. "Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see." "I see millions and millions of stars, Holmes" replies Watson. "And what do you deduce from that?" Watson ponders for a minute. "Well, astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. "Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. "Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. "Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. "Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful, and that we are a small and insignificant part of the universe. What does it tell you, Holmes?" Holmes is silent for a moment. "Watson, you idiot!" he says. "Someone has stolen our tent!" -
JUST KIDDING  Come on kids....lets post some jokes :grouphug: A woman from New York was driving through a remote part of Arizona when her car broke down. An American Indian on horseback came along and offered her a ride to a nearby town. She climbed up behind him on the horse and then rode off. The ride was uneventful, except that every few minutes the Indian would let out a "Ye-e-e-e-h-a-a-a-a" so loud that it echoed from the surrounding hills. When they arrived in town, he let her off at the local service station, yelled one final "Ye-e-e-e-h-a-a-a-a!" and rode off. "What did you do to get that Indian so excited?" asked the service-station attendant. "Nothing," the woman answered. "I merely sat behind him on the horse, put my arms around his waist, and held onto the saddle horn so I wouldn't fall off." . . . . . . . . . "Lady," the attendant said, "Indians don't use saddles." :guess

Dawg your 6'4" ? IMHO 225 lbs at that height is perfect. My brothers are all very tall like you, the biggest 6'6" I can't imagine them being at 200 lbs, they are big boned and would look awful that thin. My doc wants me to weigh 165.... I'll be happy at 175. When I was 150 people told me I was to thin and looked sickly. IMHO it depends on your bone structure.

I have a 4 year old and was scared to death something would happen. Your feelings are so very real and I can't blame you. I had to really believe and pray that nothing would happen and that the rates of death is extremely low...its a pretty safe operation. Things will be okay....just believe.

My doc said NO NO NO on the diet soda's only because of the fizz. I was about 6 month post op and was dying for a diet sprite, so I let it sit over night open, untill all the fizz was gone, flat. The next day I poured it over ice and it was pretty good, it actually satisified my craving. Haven't had one in a while and I don't miss it to much. Carbonation is not worth wrecking your band.

I go to sleep LOL, yeah I know EXCITING !!!!

I need your HONEST input, help, comments, answers, 2 cents..... HELP :help: I'm thick skinned so lay it on me. I do pretty good all day long eating healthy and staying on plan. dinner I eat healthy but struggle with portions (I am getting better though). Here's the problem, after dinner, I have an incredible sweet tooth, I mean ravenous. I don't understand what comes over me but I'll put DD to bed, 8 - 8:30 pm, I'll go to bed too, fall asleep and then around 9 - 9:30 I wake up HUNGRY but only want to shovel chit, ohhh I mean sugar in my mouth.. anything sweet (really chocolate) WTF? Why is it that I wake up at that time and have such an awful craving for sweets, so bad that I go down stairs and gorge (1/2 a sleep). Why can't I crave it at noon, eat and burn it off... noooooooooo. Thats when I do my most calorie damage is at night. Don't have sweets in the house!!... well thats true, and most of the time I don't so what do I do??? I'll look for anything to fill that void and that can be even worse than having what I crave. I'll eat fruit, swig diet crystal light and then shovel everything else in as well. So my question is... does anyone have this problem at night, I mean wake you out of your sleep problem? I don't know how to deal with it anymore. I've tried everything, even eating Protein right before bed so I'm not hungry. Is this a head issue?? but what about the belly growling?? I'm worn out folks.

My doc said to save my money and don't buy any supplements because there is no medical evidance that Biotin or any other supplement works. From all the info I've gathered here, the norm is that it will start to grow back in about a year.
