Good Morning, Thank you all for the Happy Anniversary wishes.... Pat..nobody got lucky last night LOLOL, maybe 18 years ago they might have haaaaaaaaaaa.... we went out to eat, came home, had a glass of wine (yeah me, I actually had a glass of wine, can you believe it lol) and then went to bed...TO SLEEP (piggys). Kat thank you for the prayers for my neice... I hope her body can just fight what ever it is and she can get back to normal. Thats so strange we were thinking of Beanie on her Birthday.... I hope she is happy too. I really do miss her. How is everyone by you? I'm sorry I haven't been around to much to ask....bad me. Betty... that chili story is funny. I like mine with beans too. I know some folks cook chili with meat like a roast... I like mine with ground beef. I think my pumpkin chili is the best :cursing: yeah sounds weird but it is good. I didn't know Texans didn't like beans in their chili...guess they can see a stranger coming a mile away huh. Reminds me...if you ever go to Bronx NY...and you order a flavored coffee...they know your not from around there either LOL. Diane thank you for the HA wishes. You are doing WONDERFUL with your weight loss....lookie at you almost in onderland..how cool is that. I seriously need to get a fill. I can eat alot of food and I am enjoying it...I just need to be ready to want to give that up if you know what I mean...and I'm not :thumbup: so I'm not losing weight, I'm actually gaining. February... I'm going in February...dagnabit LOLOL Jetti....how are you??? is everything going okay with the band? are you enjoying it? I know when I'm at a good fill, I enjoy it and everything else...I guess its a feeling of being in control. Ya loving this cold weather like I am .... NOT !!!! lol. Pat I'm glad your feeling better and your loving your new look, makes all that pain worth it. We still don't know anything about the blood work for my neice but she is home and resting (trying to rest with a new born lol). She's still bruising so we will see. Me.... I still have this cold...trying to fight it off myself. Tonight we are going out for dinner to Celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary (which is actually tomorrow the 27th).... we have karate today and I have a ton of cleaning to do....dang I'm tired LOL. Other than that, its pretty much sosdd. Anyone hear from BEANIE ???????????? boy I miss that girl...hope she's okay. .

OMG Whats happening here. I'm sorry I haven't been here in a while, between my niece being so sick, me being sick and dragging my carcass all over creation I haven't even had time to come here to check on my favorite gals. Pat LOVE !!! I'm so glad everything went well and it seems like your recovering wonderful. Details...details... how was it the next day... you must look amazing because you already looked amazing before your surgery. Can't wait to see the new you. Love you ! I'm sorry I can't do personals for everyone but please know that I did read all the posts. My prayer are with all of you who are not feeling well and/or are going through some rough trials right now. Remember God is Good, and never forget..you are not alone in your walk. My Niece is hanging in there. They are testing her for the same blood disease that killed my oldest sister. Hopefully, God willing, she does not have it. Its called TTP (Moschcowitz disease). They let her go home the other day but she's been back and forth to the hospital.... so we will see. The baby is doing wonderful TG. I have a nasty ass cold, its wearing me out. I have been at work all week with a fever and being so dizzy. I can't stay home because I know my daughter is going to get sick and I'll have to stay home with her.... just another day in the life of a working mom lolol. Other than that... lol ROFLMFAO, things are good. I still have my Christmas tree up... I just can't part with it yet. It brings such mental peace with me when I look at it. Yeah I know I'm a tart. Well kiddies.... I gotta go. Laundry is calling my name and if I don't keep up with it... I get reallllly cranky LOLOL Love you all !!!!! and I miss talking and laughing with you. Eileen

To all who are not feeling quite up to snuff *GENTLE HUGS* Its been a trying week. My niece had a baby boy the other day and she had to have an emergency histo... she was bleeding so bad they couldn't stop it... they gave her a 50/50 chance of survival...but through the Grace of God... she survived and is doing better. PRAISE GOD for He is GOOD...I'm not sure when she'll be able to go home (ohhh the baby is doing great, he is 10 lbs LOL... another lap-band candidate hehehe just kidding). Gotta laugh in trying times or you'll bust. Work is insane...it gets crazier by the day. DD's life had taken over mine, I am running every night to either karate or swim or something...homework, dinner, showers, etc... I'M POOPED ! Weight loss ??????????haaaaaaaaaaa whats that. I have some serious issues folks... I need to work on them. Other than that...its... SOSDD LOLOL did I mention how tired I am :frown:~ snort. Love you all..... happy new year and lets lose the weight in 2008.

Good Morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR Its been a busy fast two weeks, it just flew by. Welcome Eileen.... I'm actually from NJ. When I came to LBT there was only two of us on the NJ board. There wasn't alot of action here so I started a few game threads and it drew folks in....it was fun and this place started hoppin. Then I met Cindy and Beanie and a few others who are not here now but thats how it all started. I'm from Bergen County so I can't help you on support groups.... this is my support group right here. I went to a group at a local hospital but the few people who hogged the session made me sick so I never went back LOL. Congratulations on your surgery, your gonna feel like a million bucks real soon. What sort of plan did your doc put you on for the next few weeks (eating wise). Anyone going out tonight? Not me, we're staying home, I don't like to go out on amature night... thats when all the amature drunks go out and try to prove something haaaaaaa...yeah I used to be one of those when I was in my 20's. Now I'm an old fart and I prefer to stay home and stuff my face with brownies instead of beer. Christmas was nice...got an iPod touch.... got some movies in it and about 6 hours of music already LOL FUN FUN FUN, I can't wait to start using it for walks. New years resolutions ????????????????? guess, go ahead and guess... DUH ME !!! Diet and exercise of couse... oh and to volunteer some where with my DD to teach her to help others. Good Morning Little Goils Its good to see you all but where is the rest of the MIA chickies? Do those Christmas Cookies have ya in a sugar coma? lol Its been a busy week to say the least. Parties, cooking, cleaning, baking....calgon take me away. I can't believe 3 more days until Christmas....I'm excited to see my DD's eyes when she gets up in the morning... giggle. Is everyone shopping today ? I'll be one of them nuts too, I need to get a few more things for DH but what? He's getting an inversion table but I'd like something I can wrap and put under the tree.... putting a bow on myself is not an option since I can't fit under the tree I was watching an episode of Home Improvements the other day where Tim decorates his house outside for Christmas... it was funny, he had frankenstein dressed up as a 3 wise man and Keith Partridge's head on top of a pear tree.... very funny episode. I used to love that show. Tv really got screwy ever since the reality shows hit the airwaves. Anyway..... you all have a lovely day and Tis the Season Love yah's. .

This is a question for the folks who have unfortunately had / have a slipped band. What size is your band? I'm just curious to know if it happens more with one particular size. Thank you !!

Hi Girlies, Cindy Loo where are you ? we miss ya chickie. Diane, I'm glad your starting to get food down, just remember sloooooow Some times thats hard, especially when your belly is growling. I need a fill something horrible but I'm trying to work with what I have. I just need to cut out eating all the crap and I bet I'd start losing again .... oh well. Sherry I can't get DH tools, lets put it like this..he built my house from the outside to the inside all by himself (no contractors) so you see...he's got everything you can think of. Last year I got him the Little Giant ladder which he really likes b/c it comes apart and you can use it on stairs... but thats about it. He doesn't have hobbies, his clothes consist of work boots, jeans and tshirts... A very difficult person to buy for BUT !!!!!!!!! he told me last night he wants an inversion table (for his back) so thats what I'm getting him :eek: pheww. I gotta get my ass back up and finish cleaning the living room, then its to the doctor with my DD...her ear is acting up ?? could be the swimming classes she is taking but nonetheless, off to the doc we go. Hey Diane, sorry I had company last night and couldn't finish my post. How are you feeling today? Some times the swelling takes a few days to go down. The important thing is getting liquids down. Some times people will get fills and they wont kick in until a week later....thats mindboggling in itself. If you find in about a week you can't eat, then you definitly need an unfill and it may only be something as small as .25 cc. Hang in there !! Anniebanannie.... your family is in my prayers. *WAVE* to everyone....... hows your christmas shopping going, is everyone ready? I still had DH to buy for, he is the hardest every year. Its snowing, raining, hailing here in NJ...icky day for sure but a nice one just the same b/c I'm home Whats shakin with you ? .

Hi Kids, I didn't go shopping today, instead I did a whole poop load of cleaning and I still have a whole poop load more to go...gosh we are slobs. We put our Christmas lights up outside yesterday, it was to warm not to. Slowly, I'll do inside and tomorrow the tree goes up. I made some Turkey salad with cranberries, apples and raisins mmmmm mmmmm. Gee I wonder why my pants are tight OY VEY. Pat.... are you having surgery on the 3rd? is it a done deal? Haaaaaa on Dh and the corvette... my favorite car is a 1959 corvette, red and white...dang that thing is purdy and I'm not a car person per sey....nothing impresses me lol (cept a buffet lol).
