Diane, what I would suggest is using a crockpot to cook. This will make anything you eat very soft / band friendly. You can cook just about anything you like.

I've passed out several times in my life, and yes if the room is stuffy and the air is not moving, poof, down I go. Also anxiety will do it. During my first fill I almost passed out when the doc decided to move the needle inside me creating a sickening feeling that made me wanna drop, I got sweaty and had to sit down. Was your fill 1st thing in the morning? if not you might want to do it then. Glad your okay.

We aren't planning on doing much since we had that huge party in May for him. Wowee Moma, that is challenging. I've never heard of anyone being alergic to garlic. But the beauty of chili is, you can make it any way you like and it always comes out pretty darn good. Hope you like it !! Hugs

I have bcbs of nj, they did approve me but not until 3 days before my surgery, talk about high blood pressure. As all the folks here know, they kept me on pins and needles lol.

I didn't think there was any at all either.... on a hot hot day as a treat, I would attempt a tiny one, but only cherry or coke, I don't care for the other flavors. BRAIN FREEZE ~~~~~~~~

Yes, use the 100% pumpkin and add the cinnamon and splenda in yourself, but mix it separetly until you get the flavors just right... then add it to the chili. I use the regular pie filling because I don't eat that much of it to worry about the sugar / calories. I just prefer the real sugar taste to splenda in some of my recipies. Enjoy !!! and remember, the next day it taste better b/c the flavors meld.

Learn something new every day... I didn't think there was carbonation in slurpee's (high calories yes). The crystal light slurpees are G-R-O-S-S imho. bummer~

I love making yogurt pie w/cool whip, you can even use the fat free one...slurp!

Butternut squash is the BEST!!! but I'm not sure if it would be thick enough to make as taters. I'm thinking maybe if you added an egg to it and bake it, it might thicken up? Not sure but heck... I make pies out of butternut squash (better than pumpkin pies imho) and when you bake it it does get thick like pumpkin pie.

How is DH? Our neighbors had a party yesterday and they brought in some awesome fireworks (fireworks are illegal in NJ). They were the best home fireworks I ever seen, they had a launcher that shot those babies so freakin high... I was amazed. Bet he spent $1k on them to say the least. But whats more shocking is since they are illegal, I'm surprised there were no cops there. I mean we had 4 neighbors shooting them off and not one single cop, this went on for like 2 hours. Get this... the chief of police lives on my street LOLOL. Today is just swimming and farting aroud. Watcha all up to?

Awww big hugs to you my prayers are with you that you will be able to maintain. I know its a difficult journey, I kept 150 lbs off for 10+ years only to regain 100 back (not banded). But, you sound like your mind and heart is in the right place and that you have handed all your needs and cares over to the Lord. I believe your gonna be just fine. Wow, I'm really sorry this happened to you. It is upsetting that your doctor wouldn't take responsibility for his own wrong doings, shame shame on him. I'm really glad you found another doctor to help, let us know how you make out and again, I feel bad you had this happen.

I wouldn't say its your gaul bladder incase you really do need to have it out in the future. I would say its female and leave it at that. My neighbor tried like heck to get it out of me b/c she saw me home for 6 weeks. Talk about nosy. It must have killed her that I didn't say what it was LOL. IMHO, the less people you tell, the better. Then they can't put you under that magnifying glass that alot of them seem to do when your going thru periods where your not losing, or when your eating something they "think" you shouldn't be eating. Its just none of their bee's wax! GOOD LUCK !!!
