Hi Kids Thanks for all your prayers, I do take my cares and worries to the Lord, He's all I have. My niece's name is Jessann. She was named after my Sister who passed away in 1998 of a rare blood disease sigh~ Anyway I am just praying that since doctors like to use the "c" word alot that he is wrong. I did email my boss that I need to take the 21st off if my sister needs me and I know he read it (I explained about Jessann), but so far he hasn't said a word... he read it yesterday soooooooooo.... do you think he's sensitive... NOPE! In a way I'm glad he's not saying anything... I don't want to break down infront of the schmuck. Men are strange and stupid animals indeed (but not our Ira or Shack :confused: ). Dianne, I'm so sorry you had an accident. I don't know what to tell you about reporting it, you'll really have to go with your gut feeling. What does your DH say? How are you feeling today? Donna enjoy the graduation and have a wonderful time visiting take pictures too. Sherry the only thing meetings are good for is wasting time. Hang in there, you'll catch up. If you think she is suffering / physically hurting then its time. Bring her to the vet and see what the vet says. Even though she may not be crying or moaning, she could be hurting inside. I'm so very sorry

Thats cool Margo My one friend who had GBP about 5+ years ago told me she wished she had the option at that time to have the band. She IS doing wonderful with the bypass btw.

Hi Ladies, Welcome back Anne now if only PAT would get her rump back in here. Hugs and kisses to you all. I have read all the posts but today I am in my own world and really am having a hard time concentrating, so prayers to you all. Yesterday I found out that my 6 year old niece has to have an opperation for her throat... Doctor says its cancer ...... yeah I'm besides myself. Her operation is the 21st. Its hard to sit here at work but whats gonna be harder is to tell my boss I might need next friday off b/c of this. When I tell the little sargent I know I will cry and I do NOT want to cry infront of him... he thinks I'm a week piece of chit as it is. Soooooooooo..... thats where my brain is right now. Hugs and kisses to you all.... thanks for letting me get this off my chest.

That would really depend on where you are after surgery... for instance, for me 1 cup was alot at first... but by my 3 - 4 month out, unrestricted I was eating an entire hero. When I told the doctor I could do this he said it was ok, as long as I was losing weight?? WTF?? thats not what they taught us, but he was fine with it. Up until this last fill am I now able to only eat 1 cup and thats 8 months after surgery. So you see, everyone is different, you just need to pay attention to your body signals and ignor the mind (I know easier said than done) lol, old habits are hard to break. Hawg... your gonna do just fine.

IMHO, I would do liquids for a few days. It sounds like you could be swollen from the vomiting, then slowly incorporate mushies and then solids. See how this goes, if your still having problems, then call your doctor. Good luck !!!

2 cups of food does seem like alot being your only out 3 weeks, but everyone heals differently. Being you have no restriction you'll be able to each much more than some one with a fill. I would eat less and eat more often if you have to, rather than eat alot at one sitting. Try not to feel "full" try to feel satisified. I couldn't eat that much until I was out about 3 months or so... then food went down like before I was banded... Now that I have restriction its a huge difference in how much I can eat. 1 cup at times seems like a mountain to climb. Your doing fine, just watch the amount... continue to go slow, tiny bites and you'll be okay. Your body will let you know when you've done to much. Hugs !!

I go to walmart for my JMS bra's and they never have the quantity I need, so I go on line and poof, they are shipped to my house and no driving, dealing with people or wasting my time. Bet you can find your pants there. Don't listen to the stores, your scale is telling you the truth, you ARE smaller and getting smaller by the day. Hang in there. I get alot of my clothes from Roamans.com they have a tall section and I like their clothes (disposable clothes LOL). The fireworks were great yesterday.... the carnival was expensive... $3 for a 1 minute ride for the kids, what a rip off, we spent $30 in tickets for DD to go on a few rides WTF is this world coming to.. cotton candy... SUGAR... FREAKIN SUGAR $3.00 a bag WTF... a candy apple, a freakin apple $3.00. I'm in the wrong business folks.. but we just sucked it up like the rest of the robots and smiled as we were getting it up the yingyang if you catch my drift. What happened to $1 rides? LOLOL snort ~~~ Well today is cleaning and swimming, and thats about it... how bout you all?
