Thats awesome congratulations I had BCBS and received approval within 24 hours. They are great.

I weened myself off drinking when I eat.. I know were suppose to just stop doing it but I have done it for 32 years kinda hard to change it. I started with not drinking with 1 meal, then 2 meals, now 3 meals. I still find it hard sometimes and I sneak a couple sips in when I have my snack in the morning but I really dont notice being hungry sooner when I do it or filling up quicker... which are the reasons they don't want you doing that.

It's really different for everyone I am sure. I don't know if I hit my sweet spot but I have restriction after 1 fill. I can only eat 1/2 cup of food max and I wouldd have to really work hard to get more than 900 calories in on any given day. I lost 3 pounds last week... Hoping I can keep my band right where it's at but im sure it will loosen and I will need more fills. So it can take 1 fill or 10 you just have to hang in there

I ride 13 miles 5x per week and then a fast walk for atleast 3 miles on the days that I cannot make the ride. I make sure to burn atleast 500 calories per day with workouts.

Thats wonderful about your BMI! I am seriously looking forward to seeing the numbers go from the 40's to the 30's

Water is what I had the hardest time adapting too. I really do not care for it and never have. However, I am a crystal light addict now lol. I buy the big packets and mix it up in either a pitcher or a milk jug and keep it in the fridge. I start the second I wake up drinking so I have a head start. I get an 8 oz glass and keep it in the bathroom while I get ready for work. I pace myself just enough that I have myself trained that by the time I leave for work that glass needs to be gone. I then plan to have another glass down before each break/lunch at work. By the time I leave work I have had 40Oz... I make sure to take in atleast 2 more at home in the evening.

After a couple weeks of contemplating... I finally decided to go with the Cateye Micro wireless.. It seems to have a couple more features than the comparable Strada.. My personal trainer has me stick with 10 pounds or less and never more than 10 reps per exercise.

Had my first fill 9 days ago easy as pie and I am afraid of needles. 1 stick and I was outta there. No bruising either.

I haven't lost a ton of weight yet but I have restriction.. I can only eat 1/2 a cup at a sitting I have never Pb'd or slimed. But I get full very fast and pay attention to how I feel.

Exact same thing happened to me. Dr. Umbach of the Bariatric center in Eugene, Oregon is leaving to go back to California... They gave me the option of leaving the center for another one. I said heck no surgery is in a couple days and at that point I didn't care who was gonna cut me open lol. Turns out Dr. Yarbrough took over and he is absolutely awesome and I am glad now that they did the switch :Angel_anim:

My personal opinion is that the nurse is smoking crack.... Ok that wasn't polite. They are the medical experts so you should follow their advice.. But I had frozen yogurt in the hospital.
