Congrats and wtg. I think getting within 2 pounds of your goal is close enough for me. I would declare goal but that's just me :tt2: Absolutely wonderful and keep up the great work.

Thanks for the response. I started on the water first thing this morning haha. I was just hoping there was a miracle.

Lots of questions about the BodyBugg. Do you have one? Can I have your 2 cents?
Brandy~ posted a topic in Fitness & Exercise
Ok, So my weightloss has begun and I think it might have something to do with the excessive exercising I have been doing. When I say excessive I just mean I went from holding the couch cushins down to hard work outs 1 hour plus every day. I really want to find out where and when I am burning the calories and where I could do a little better. I have never really watched the biggest loser but I was told the BodyBugg was on that show and thats how the craze started. My questions are: Is there a comparable product to the bugg for less money? Do you HAVE to have a subscription with it or can you upload data without it Is it worth the 250? What features would you add or change? Can it be worn under clothes easily to be hidden? Can it be worn say on the ankle or something instead? I appreciate anyone that can help me make this decision. -

I haven't ever came acrossed a post that says they are sorry they chose the band. Could you give me the links? Everyone I know on here and RL says I love, love, love my band! -
I am sorry that they ran you through so fast. I did go home the same day though. That was my choice... I hate hospitals! I had surgery at 7 am and went home at 6pm. I could of went home anytime after 12 but I waited for fiance to get off work to get me.

That's great! Wishin you more pounds to come  -
I don't want to get rid of my scale... But I have been considering having my fiance keep it in his trunk or something lol. It's very weird how the mind work and how addiction can come in the weirdest ways... even when it's not a drug. I don't stand on the thing constantly but I do check a few times a day... It's probably not emotionally healthy though. I would love to go to 1 time per month weigh ins but I don't have the will power yet haha.

Anyone have Problems With Korean BBQ With Lap Band?
Brandy~ replied to photo's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Well you should always listen to your doctors advice. I can tell you that I am 3 months post op and I eat anything. I am actually having tri tip for dinner tonight and Pork tomorrow... I am not sure what the whole year thing is about. I would talk to your doctor about it if you don't think you can make it a year without steak. I honestly think that's pretty crazy. -

I wonder if maybe the skin just didn't go down right or something  -
I fluctuate between the same 3 pounds constantly.... I know this because I am one of the bad people that weigh myself everyday. It's extremely common since it takes into account lack of Water, too much water, feces, undigested food, etc.. You're fine I would say. Just stay on track and keep working it all evens out.

Before I was banded I didn't care for salt. I would eat it when it was on food that was fine.. But I didn't crave it or go outta my way to get it. Now I have the weirdest craving... I take a large grapefruit and could probably put 1/2 a salt shaker on it... Thats how bad it is lol. I gave in 2 times to it and noticed that I swelled like a balloon and didn't lose weight for a week after that so I don't let the salt win anymore. I just figure my bodies changing and adapting... it should fade.

Does your Lap Band react to Stress?
Brandy~ replied to TRANAM1955's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
As everyone else is stating... Yes! I am in the middle of planning our Hawaii wedding and since it's all thousands of miles away and I have to take peoples word for it.. I am continuously stressed and my band keeps getting tight. -
Well it's not really up to lapband.com to know if you qualify... Thats between your doctor and your insurance... Go to a consult they are free.
-
I have never done this... But I saw something on Oprah about it and people claimed to have lost up to 10 pounds from it..
