I am big on top so it's hard to find coats that fit right. Well I am not huge but DD so nothing seems to fit right. I will check it out this weekend. I love Kohls. I try to stay away though because it drains the wallet haha. I think I have spent a ton on clothes since i began losing weight.... WhY? Well, cause I fit in them now and I can.. so I do. Lol I love it.

Does your DH or SO know how much you weigh?
Brandy~ replied to cQQlgirl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I told my signifigant other how much I weighed once I hit 50# lost. It wasn't a biggie. Now I jump on the scale with him there all the time to show him haha. It's fun now he is trying to lose a couple pounds. He only weighs 185 and is 5 ' 10" haha. -
Thats hillarious (About the jacket) I didn't think far enough in advance for a new jacket. I had a huge audit this week and had to be outside walking around in warehouses and stuff... Well it was jacket weather so I put mine on and realized it was a 2 x that barely zipped last year.... Now I had to roll up the sleeves and I was swimming in it. I could of put a belt on and passed for a dress! Although I loved putting it on and seeing the huge loss I don't like having to go buy another one haha. Leslie I bet you'll find a super cute one. Treat yourself

My weight has been super weird. I will lose for like a month then stop for 2 or 3 weeks then lose for a month. It's frustrating at times. But then those NSV's make you think... Ok so it's not all about the numbers. Because while my scale wasn't moving I went down to a size 14 so I was super happy. I cleaned out the whole closet of anything size 16 and up and now only own a few pairs of pants lol. I don't care cause they are all 14's and I wont EVER own 16 again. Makes me feel good.

I go up and down constantly .... seriously haha. This is my last few weeks 218, 215, 219, 215 Theres way too many things that come into play with weight. I just leave my weight at 215 on my ticker and then if during a weigh in it goes lower I use that weight hehe. That might be cheating but thats what I do.

That exactly how my fill was for me once I hit restriction. I walked in the office hungry and walked out feeling full haha. I don't feel hunger pangs anymore. I eat by the clock. I am one of the lucky ones I think. Though my weight loss comes and goes.... atleast I do not feel pangs or starve. Been like that for about 2 months now
-
Uggh now im getting hungry! I found these yummy Jello pudding snack cups that are sugar free 60 cals and they have the digestive health thingy stuff in it like dan active LOL If that made sense.

Yeah that used to be a pattern for me too. The big thing you have to watch is the sodium in soups. They are normally so high in sodium that its not worth eating it. Do you cook at home? I have learned to keep TONS of those ziploc mini containers around. I cook dinner and if theres left overs I divide it into the right serving sizes for me and freeze them. That keeps me from running out of foods I like.

Okay you lured me in... I am gonna jump in. I have been bad about journaling lately though :w00t: Date:10/01 What Did You Eat Today?: B- 1 slice of turkey, tsp avacado, tsp spinach dip, a few sprinkles of mozz cheese, rolled up in a lettuce leaf. L- 2 oz of chicken parmesan I made the night before 3 snow peas S- 1/2 a sugar free Jello cup D- Another lettuce wrap like Breakfast (They were good S- Handfull of trail mix Protein: Not sure Water Intake: 84 ounces Exercise:1 hour jog/walk alternating Anything to add: Breakfast is my hardest meal to get down. It might sound like alot but it was very small and even that I couldn't finish it all. I also have 1-2 about 5 oz glasses of chardonnay a few times a week so that could be adding to my slow loss... But hey I chose to make a lifestyle change not go on a perma diet  I gave up everything else but my wine and reality shows hahah.

Hey all. Just thought I would check in... I have been off and on for a few days now since I was so busy with work. Anyway, the scale has not moved up or down that is good news. Would be even better if it had moved down but atleast its not going up since it's almost TOM. I found this recipe today and it sounds so good! I think I will make it later. I am sure I will cut it into a smaller portion 8 pieces is way too much. Chicken Pesto Recipe | Recipezaar Pretty high in protein and would make some good left overs.

Go try to pick up 5 bowling balls or hold a 50 lb sack of flour. You will feel victorious. I am over joyed with my loss and its 52lbs. -
Wow were probably about the same age? haha that's hillarious we have alot of the same tastes in music. I wish I had one set list but I dont. I would say lately I have had about 90% of my play lists set as White stripes. I am not sure what it is about them maybe because it's a female drummer and I can connect with her. But seriously Moulin rouge gets stuck in my head once I hear it i will sing for weeks... Now I gotta go download it and stick it on my Pod. On a side note here in Eugene were know as one of the best running cities and have the best trails for it (because were the home of the great prefontaine) I was just curious do you guys run on the pavement, bike trails, running trails etc? I have been using this getting well as a chance to keep my border collie in shape. He loves to run right next to me and for that he is becoming super obedient on his leash. My bulldog on the other hand just likes to float around in his pool on his floaty... He isn't much for moving around! Heres some pics just cause I don't have enough work to keep me busy haha

I did this last night and it was SUPER good! I used a whole grain wrap out of the deli section at walmart. It was low car high Fiber.. so I think it was 60 calories and 9 Protein. I actually cooked in on the stove top for a section to firm it up a bit. I put about 4-5 tablespoons of contandina pizza sauce and sprinkled basil on it. Spread out about 1/2 cup mozzy then top with whatever you like. I used: 2 slices of Breakfast ham chopped chopped onion green peppers mushrooms I put it in the oven and baked it for about 10 minutes at 450.. it was to die for and it made about 4 meals  This is a dish you could make really high in protein very easily.

haha that's funny cause mine usually looks like that too. But you expect to find clothes hung up and orderly if you're gonna buy them. Most of the store looked like this and no one was doing anything to fix it. It was such a shocker lol I didn't buy anything because I was so frustrated with how full all the racks were, having to step over clothes, and nothing where it was suppose to be.

I have something that's kind of off topic. I was completely mortified this afternoon when I went to Old Navy. I was hoping to find a couple pair of jeans on clearance for $10 each or less to get by... well I have attached a pic of the ladies section.

Any one not have pre-op diet???
Brandy~ replied to christi.jones08's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If I was you and to one big support group for each other I would go on the preop diet with them and get a head start. -
Bea- Congrats and that's awesome on your time. Honestly I haven't timed myself but I can't run the whole time. But just think where were we 2 years ago or 1 year ago. Could we have even made it for the whole 5k even crawling? I would of thought it was torture at it's worst form haha. Now what I do to start my run off is I run 50 walk 25 run 50 walk 25. I do that over and over till I am running more and more and barely walking. I can even breathe! Before I would feel like I was gonna puke and I couldnt breathe if I walked a mile haha.

I just have to always tell a little white lie on my license always when it comes to weight... Even when I was about 150-160 I would put 130 or 140 lol
-
I actually work in Logistics for a Whole oat grain mill. It's fun and I like my job.. I actually get to taste all kinds of name brand yummy whole oat stuff before they hit the market since we do the grains for em. I don't have to use a gun at work and hope I never would have to. I have a CHL for protection though since I do alot of running now at night and early AM. I was also riding my bike to work along the river (there had been rapes and such) I go to the range alot and do some BLM shooting. Let's just say I would know how to use it if anyone decided to grab me hehe  Thats funny Leslie about your drivers license. I took my pic at 267 and put 200 too. I weigh 215 now so I am almost what it says HAH
-
Yesterday I compared my drivers license that I had to renew in February this year at my highest weight... with my concealed weapons permit pic taken last month...... WOW Huge difference  Now I wanna go retake them but I will wait till I hit goal.
-
Holy cow! You're doing awesome and what a difference you can really tell! I am at work but I think I have a few pics I can post when I find them.
-
I would put the solids down and get right back on the surgeons diet. This time is meant for healing the band and creating scar tissue that will hold it in place... This means less chance of slippage.
-
Congratulations Hollie. I know you have alot going on in your life the last year from the posts I have read... You're 18 not too so go live it up!
-
Congratulations! Boy do I know how you feel and it's awesome  I hit 50 pounds lost and Celebrate with a shopping spree of all new pants and shirts size 14's and xl's in ladies not plus size. OH HAPPY DAY! Keep up the great work and have a nice trip.
-
Wow Mom congrats  Seriously something like that is important and we love to hear it. we are all here to support one another so whether it's good or bad this is the place to post it. I set mini goals for each month and they are small so they are attainable.. ( since I was plateaud for a month) This month I lost 6 pounds so I hit my Sept goal. I have 50 more to lose so I am sure that I will be very close to losing it all by band anniversary at this point!
