    Carol yes I believe they are correct about the amount of time needed is about 1 hour. However, alot of the experts differ on the science of exercise. I am almost 100% the exercising in your heart zone is a great idea because if I did a full out sprint for 1 mile I would probably die of a heart attack hehe My water aerobics instructor also mentioned that you burn more doing water aerobics because your body has resistance along with it trying to keep your extremeties warm... They might be onto something there. It also tightens your muscles up and makes you feel tired more quicker I thought when I did it.

    Do share Carol :biggrin: I love hearing new tips. Hey Mom I would love to know more about the clean eating as well. I have heard of the negative calorie but that doesn't work for bandsters since it would be way too hard to get in enough protein if you're stuffing up with negative calorie food.

    Uggh sorry I spam the thread... I really do try not to but I like asking your guys first :biggrin: On dailyplate do you normally create meals for like Turkey sandwich and such? Sometimes I can be pretty boring and since I don't eat alot when I buy something I usually keep at it till it's all gone lol

    Wtg Leslie! I am going to try to make it to weds step class. If I cannot then I will go to sat and sunday class. I am going to give it a couple weeks. I think I will complete atleast 1/2 of the class each time till I get the hang of it and then I might feel confident and well enough to do the whole 1 hour.

    Has anyone tried those Anytizers? I like the tequilla and lime ones they are 200 calories with 20 grams Protein.

    I think my biggest issue with logging is that when it comes time for dinner I realize that I make alot of things Home made like soups and different meat recipes etc. I make alot of the sauces myself too. How in the heck do you log that?

    Good Morning everyone! So yesterday I was the best bandster ever. I am gonna try to keep it up but we will see lol. I went to my step class and I will tell you those people are super crazy! haha I met the instructor ahead of time and she explained that I shouldn't get discouraged because it was like joining a foreign language class and attending it for the first time. She put me in the back right in the middle. The class is 1 hour long of pure butt kicking... At 1/2 way they stop for a minute to get drinks and such. I made it for 38 minutes then I decided that I had done well and didn't push myself. I considered it progress for me since I and so uncoordinated lol I didn't want to get frustrated or discouraged. After class I did a mile on the treadmill to do a cool off. I plan on going back a few more times and doing 1/2 of the class to learn more of the moves and try to get a little more up to speed. How is everyone else?

    Yes Carol that's so annoying. The reason I joined the gym is because it is 24 hour.. Unless u wanna take a class then u have to do it between 9am and 6pm lol I put something in the crock pot for dinner tonight so I am going to the gym and I am going to try a class.,... Even tho I am going to look like Elaine on seinfeld trying to dance.

    L2L~ I am looking for one that will waive the fee. I could switch to the Ymca but it's more per month and then they also charge 120 to join. Not sure I want to pay that much more. I guess I will have to way the options. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and figure a way to work around my schedule and try step class or something. I have 2 left feet tho. Carol~ I would imagine that the average margarita is about 300 calories and about 1600 sodium... As much as I love them and have 1 now and then I see how horrible they are for me now. I love bloody marys too.. . I see a trend I love anything salty hehe

    Well it was 300 initiation to join and I can walk away now but then I have to pay the joining fees again at another place :biggrin: I wish I would of checked into the classes more.

    I have to vent a little! I am a member of 24 hour fitness well used to be until it was bought out by OZ fitness. They have the crappiest classes, class hours, and space for the classes. I want to find a class that I could join since I am getting burned out on running outdoors and the weather is sucky. The fees to join a gym is ridiculous so I don't really want to jump ship and pay the initiation for another gym :biggrin: All they offer is water aerobics, spin class, and step. They don't have any early morning classes for the people that like to work out before work :wub: They have some in the evenings but more like 7pm and such.. Too hard when you're the person that does the domestic duties to be missing during the main part of the evening lol
